Thank you! I will take that advice close with me.

I also feel that way when doing divination, after all, the word divination mean “reading the gods” and I find the challenge for myself to keep myself aside and try to make sense of what is being said instead of what I make of it. What I find amusing is that when doing readings to myself it is the same voice speaking most of the time; when I do readings for others it is very clearly something else speaking that feels tailored to the querent.

Yes! I notice the same thing. It's funny how only a few years ago, I would have been more freaked out about such phenomena, or at least I would have seen them as a big deal. I saw my first ever full-on ghostly apparition in the forest in late 2020 and it didn't scare me in the slightest. It was pretty much just another day at the park.

Wow how was that if you don’t mind?

I was also pretty spooked when I got my first Tarot reading from a friend back in 2015 or something like that and he was saying “They tell me...” and then my face drained all of its blood. During my latest encounter with the unseen however, I received quasi-physical guidance during my daily LRP for something I was doing wrong and instead of being scared I was like “Oooooh so that is how you do that”.

It was a funny story... I walked down my favorite path and saw a guy standing there about 50 feet away. I thought to myself "oh crap, social distancing" and prepared to walk by him awkwardly. As I approached, he vanished into the surroundings. It was then that his message hit me -- he was a guy who had died in the forest. I have a talent for helping dead humans who are stuck to release themselves to the Gates so I assisted him until he was able to leave and do the normal Second Death process. He thanked me and the powers that helped him thanked me.

It's not Monday, so I apologize if I'm late. But how do we learn to teach dead people to release themselves to the Gates? Is there a book to read? I haven't seen any ghosts, but maybe I should be prepared.

In any case, it looks like you're teaching more than music.

Hi Jon,

It's no problem, I just put that message at the end of the post so readers know I won't be doing any new readings until next Monday; of course it is fine to comment on the existing post.

What's odd is I have talked to dead people since my childhood, even as an atheist, but for the longest time I convinced myself it was all just in my imagination. Dion Fortune's Through The Gates of Death is the best book on the subject of death, ghosts, and life after death out there. I usually don't see ghosts in full form like that one guy. They're usually more of just an impression or slightly outside my field of vision. I see ghost cats and other ghost animals quite frequently -- I have had ghost cats following me around for at least a decade. Like many people, I'm clairvoyant, but that doesn't mean I always literally see the beings. Sometimes I only feel them. Learning to discern what is my mental chatter and what is someone else was and is an art. It has gotten much easier over time, but at this point the voices are very distinct from my own.

My suggestion is don't force it: no Ouija boards, no seances. Just be patient and generally let the dead know that you are happy to communicate with them when you sense them around.

I think most people aren't prepared for the subtlety of clairvoyance. Just as an experienced sailor can tell a storm is coming from the peculiar scent of a breeze or a computer nerd can tell that one particular part of a batch of code is going to help or wreck an operating system, a good clairvoyant has to process a million subtle details, often all at once, often by instinct, to figure out who is there and who is trying to communicate, and who is pretending to be another entity (trickery). Trickery is why seances and Ouija boards should be avoided. Spiritualists often think they are talking to somebody's dead grandma or Marie Antoinette and that is only true a small portion the time. Typically they're talking to an impersonator. There are plenty of entities who hate humans, many who love them, and a vast quantity who are completely indifferent.
