This is a two-parter, if that's alright. Someone I knew a long time ago, who turned out to be an unsavory character, is starting to intrude into my dreams in a way that hasn't happened in a long time...

Did J use magic in relation to me? Do I need to take protective measures?

Last week, I think the Ogham were signaling that you should look into creating intellectual property of some sort. I haven't done your reading yet for this week, but I wanted to mention that because I think it is important.

My Ogham were crystal clear on this one - They give me a "No", if J did magic against you, *it wasn't their intention (I'll clarify what I mean by this further down). However, it's a hard YES for "Do I need to take protective measures?". For the question about J, they give me Onn or Community ill-dignified. What this means is that J may not be doing magic against you, but someone else in your community probably is aiming their nasty intentions your way. For the second question, they give me Phagos or Teaching well-dignified, which means that you absolutely need to protect yourself from bad magic being aimed in your direction. If you know any natural magic, it would be a good idea to employ it now.

*Most people throw around bad magic almost constantly whether this is they know they are doing it or not. When I'm in the car and someone cuts me off, I have to stop myself from unleashing my (unseen) anger at them because I am good at hexing. Being good at hexing means my unexamined rage is more potent than the average person's, however, it does not make me immune to blowback from that rage. Most people don't have this thought process when they are angry, so what they end up doing is shooting rage bullets at all and sundry. The blowback for this is they are sitting ducks in glass houses who don't understand why its a bad idea to throw stones.

Hi, I asked only about the next month (30 days) and my Ogham said No, you should not remain celibate for the next 30 days. They give me Ngetal ill-dignified. Ngetal is cleanliness and imbalance can be towards either side of a spectrum. In this case, they are warning about being overly clean I think, meaning the kind of etheric constipation that arises from being afraid of sharing intimate energy with others. Keep in mind that you can have sex with non-physical beings. I suppose I should write a post someday about the sex I have had with non-physical beings, and no, it did not involve physical masturbation.

I asked my Tarot about this and they gave me two cards that clearly indicate Ares/Mars, the Nine of Swords and The Tower. I think they are saying that you should look at war gods who aren't the most popular ones. I have turned to Ares for guidance in the last few years and at least in my case, I have found that conversing with Him is productive and extremely valuable for its insights. They also gave me The Sun card which indicates you should look at solar deities such as Ra, Zeus or the more solar versions of Jesus Christ.

I'm delighted to hear that you were able to end the relationship harmoniously.

I did a three card reading to represent the next year in general for you: for the You position, they gave me Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified, which means the balance will swing to one, two, or both extremes of sharing too much of yourself or sharing too little. My advice is to stay alert to this tendency. In this case, knowing its a tendency will be much to your advantage.

Your second card, Situation position, is Luis (Maple in my system, Rowan in the old Ogham), which is an extremely good card and means you'll be closely in tune with your best path and your Holy Guardian Angel in the next year. It will be a year of deep reflection and beneficial guidance for you.

Your Outcome or Lesson is the best card of all. It is Duir well-dignified. Duir is Oak, White Oak in my system. It means gifts and says that you will both pour out and receive true generosity this year, which is a positive feedback loop that will benefit your whole existence and all those fortunate enough to know you.

My Ogham say No, not this week. They give me Huath, which means Obstacles. This is troubling because if you do get a bite this week, it is likely to turn into a bad employer or bad situation in some key sense.

Great! Glad to hear it. Intellectual property is the best way forward for the creatively inclined. Corporate jobs have become absolutely poisonous in the US and I have a feeling they're not good elsewhere either. The more money you make, the worse it gets because of all of the maneuvering one must do to stay at the top, including surviving cutthroat competition.

Thank you, this is really helpful.

I am quite good at reading people and when you said it may be someone else, I instantly knew who. Divination tonight was very clear - yes it's this person and no one else. The culprit is the neighbor on the other side of our duplex (the neighbor whose house the Ogham said we would both regret buying and not buying). I can't really get away - our bedrooms share a wall! - but spent a lot of time in prayer tonight and got clear guidance on some steps to take. I don't feel angry toward her and would like to improve the situation. I've never done any natural magic, other than vinegar under the bed once, though I do have JMG's Encyclopedia of Natural Magic and am open to suggestions.

My advice is to fill some bowls with salt (preferably sea salt or kosher salt, but any salt will do) and hot pepper flakes. Each bowl should contain at least one bent nail pointed towards the neighbor's side. Also consider either printing out or hand drawing a demon-binding symbol such as a hexafoil or any complex, symmetrical pattern like this one:

You might consider papering an entire wall in a symmetrical pattern if you're allowed to do so, for instance this wallpaper:

Nobody knows why a symbol can bind malefic energies; we only do this because it is/was common practice among most magical cultures and religions. I believe the reason is because just as a pattern makes the eyes move in a certain way, it makes energy flow along the same lines. Hexafoils, yin-yangs, and other symmetrical patterns act as energetic knots or nets -- bad energy seeking to get to you, in its limited intelligence, will become distracted (shiny!!) by the pattern and then caught in its endless loop.

Hexafoils on the adjoining wall were also suggested to me during prayer; I've got one up on the wall for tonight as a start. The wallpaper is a great idea and I will definitely get the salt bowls pulled together tomorrow. Thanks!
