I think I am going to take a break from not only Dreamwidth, but also all my other social media as well. Maybe I might follow VioletCabra's footsteps and delete all my social media.
We've talked about it in the comment sections of your essays before, the "one astral pyramid rules all" phenomenon in our society today, and sad to say that I very much still have those tendencies. Regardless of the topic, I have my opinions and others have different opinions, and sometimes instead of agreeing to disagree and leaving it at that, I feel that I have to convert everybody else to my opinion. And this is bad for everybody involved because we end up wasting our emotional and mental energy arguing with each other and not changing anybody's minds, and end up hating each other over these vicious fights. Since social media is a cacophony of different opinions, if I don't get better at tolerating / respecting other people's opinions, I will end up wasting my life in endless arguments with other people on social media.
