Hello... New Year, new Ogham readings!
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.
Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break. My next planned break is the week of Sunday, March 24.

Date: 2024-01-07 05:01 pm (UTC)There are two ventures that have been swirling around in my head for a while but I feel like I may be too fanciful in my plans, the second more so than the first. I'd like to pursue both equally but know deep down I'll likely have to prioritize one. Would it be possible to get an idea of what each path may look like?
I also thought I'd give an update on a reading you did for me previously. I was thinking about moving house but wasn't sure if the timing was right and the reading indicated that that things would be better if I stayed.
That was three days before the war in Ukraine broke out. Since then, my country has taken in tens of thousands of refugees and the housing market has gone insane, even worse than it was before. People in their 30's and older are having to move back in with their parents because there's literally nowhere else for them to go. One of the streets on my walk to work is now lined with tents that people live in.
I still haven't tried to move, the place I have isn't ideal but it's reliable. Overall, I'd say the reading was pretty accurate even if it wasn't what I imagined at the time.

2. I want to set strong and focused intentions for the new year. I have a few in mind already and ways to practice them, but your Ogham can help. I have two questions on this front, if it’s OK with you for me to ask them both.
2a. What is the most important intention I should act on on a regular and repeated basis throughout this year? I have many intentions but I hope your Ogham identifies that one which I should prioritize most.
2b. What is the most important action or type of action I should set and put into practice in order to work towards a major project of mine? It may be the same answer as 2a, but I don’t know that yet.

According to past readings, my guardian angel or higher self is trying to communicate with me. I've been trying to open to this, but I feel like I'm struggling to connect.
What's the best way to further this communication? If meditation, should I meditate on anything in particular?
(This is sort of half an Ogham divination question and half a practical advice question, lol.)

1. What does the Ogham say I should keep in mind this coming week?
2. This morning waking up I had a flashback of the last few years. The despair of applying to so many jobs and not getting anything for several years. Depression, together with the ruminations about the previous toxic job and career I had to leave behind…my life was a pile of ruins…Then I started praying to a few gods using the Orphic Hymns and gradually things changed, I started a new job last year and so far, it’s been a bit stressful at times but things are ok. Also, last year I started to be consistent about doing the Orphic Hymns every day, with the correct incense and candle and everything (except when I wasn’t at home)…Mainly to be honest, to say thank you every day to the corresponding God/Goddess
Now all of these memories have surfaced, and I don’t know what to think. What does your Ogham say about this? What do I need to know/do/learn?
I want to improve my relationship with the Gods. I have been very stressed out about the new job and all that and haven’t put more effort into this, but I thought starting by saying thank you every day for a year would be a good way to get started…
ok, now I’m repeating myself.
Help me here Kimberly, what do I need to know about this? Believe me, I know (and remind myself constantly, because I say thank you every day) that things have improved for me only because maybe one or more God/Goddess was inclined to help. I wish I knew who he/she or they are to say more proper thanks… so I’m confused about these thoughts and what, if anything, they mean…and what to do about them…
BTW, did you make a guide/video for discursive meditation? I really enjoyed your Orphic Hymns when I heard them…

2024 Outlook

You and the Ogham have been most helpful, especially in helping me navigate work-related questions. The Ogham gave very good advice about the direction I should take-- though I'm still struggling a bit with what I think I *should* be doing.
Would love to get an overview for the big picture themes to be mindful of in 2024, especially given that Saturn will still be in Pisces and likely still be providing opportunities for... shall we say... growth.

The Ogham give you three cards this week, all ill-dignified. I do a personal Ogham reading for myself every day and I find that some of the best days of my life have been on all ill-dignified readings. I think this is because I knew exactly what kind of imbalances to look for ahead of time.
For the You position, you drew Ur or Intimacy. When ill-dignified, this means you'll want to stick your foot in your mouth almost whenever you speak for a week, so when in doubt, leave it out and exercise your right to remain silent. It also can mean close relationships being strained because you (or perhaps the other person) is being a jerk, making at least one of you feel very alone.
For the Situation, you drew Tinne or Defense. Tinne, especially in this dignity, is one of my Ogham's physical danger cards, so be on guard and risk adverse this week. Other than that, it can be talking about being too defensive, feeling territorial or vulnerable and being tempted to react in not so smart ways because of it. It can also be talking about needing more defense, and in that case, I recommend praying to gods that handle that, such as Athena, Ares, or Jesus, but also being a good listener, as the Divine might be trying to tell you something.
For the Outcome or Culmination, you drew Fearn or Bridge. This can mean bad advice being thrown your way, someone in your circle taking that advice, or not being able to give someone the advice they think they can get from you. It also has to do with having the urge to burn a bridge because people can be very irritating. Very rarely, this one can be saying that a bridge needs to be taken out of the picture because it travels backwards and/or to a place you do not want to go. As per usual with my Ogham, they leave it to you the Querent to figure out which type of imbalance is the strongest here.

Date: 2024-01-08 01:55 am (UTC)My Ogham say that a) isn't a good idea at this time, but they say you are going in the right direction, so certainly ask again later. They give you Uilleand or Generosity ill-dignified, which means a divine someone is paying attention to you at the moment, but it's not Venus. It could be a god who is associated with generosity, and in that case, if you'd like to do a candle spell series with that god in mind and asking him or her to help you become truly generous, it would actually help further your goal of attracting romance. Generosity and gratitude are both what most humans look for in a romantic partner.
For b), they say Nah. Better rethink what you are doing. They give Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified, meaning the current plan is not right. Continue your research and ask yourself all the questions.
