Agree -- something changed. At a point near the turn of the Millennium, an open season was declared on all of the formerly sacred cows. Maybe it was that celebrity wrestling show in the 90s that opened the gates -- do you remember that one? I cannot remember if D-list celebrities wrestled or boxed one another. I know Danny Bonaduce was on it. Suddenly celebs did not seem so special. They were exposed as grifters who would do anything for a paycheck, a.k.a. no different than any other desperate, bargain basement commoner.
