Hi Kimberly, I found your post here via the comments section on one of JMG's posts, and I just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm a very new druid and have been doing some small workings dedicated to Venus and Jupiter, mainly to help me with my job in the service industry...and I keep getting a sense of the deities themselves present in the background of things, not just the planetary forces, which is exciting but also a little uncanny. I've been curious to connect with them more, so I'm very happy to have so many great suggestions here as a starting point.
I've always thought there was something too shallow or materialistic about me for caring so much about beautiful things and having a nice looking home, but now a big part of my spiritual life has been about beholding the sacred in the material. I also started getting some intuitive nudges a few years ago that I didn't need to dye my hair any more, and that tattoos would be a bad move. I'm glad I listened! I'm very curious to give up all cursing/swearing and see how that feels. Could be a good chance to find a more creative way to express myself.
