We are on the same page. Just this morning, I had the unpleasant epiphany that everyone in the salary class (or anyone who sincerely aspires to be salary class) who took the quax knew subconsciously that it was either take it or accept a severe drop in social status and income for the rest of their lives. Principles, schminciples. Those got thrown under the bus a long time ago -- how else does one climb the salary class ladder and/or barely hang on to their rung? There's no hanging on without moral compromise in the salary class, especially not in the current era of musical chair lightning rounds. As far as hating others, all that hatred they've built up had to go somewhere since they have collectively run screaming from any discursive thoughts or even dialogue with other people about it. I don't think they're even "allowed" to discuss their issues with hatred with their therapists and psychiatrists without getting 5150'd.
