Regarding question 1 - I had a horrible feeling that might be the case, but I'm glad it is unlikely to drag us into global catastrophe. I have a feeling a know which countries may be responsible, but I'll keep my thoughts to myself on that.
Regarding 2 - Hmm. Interesting. It does feel a bit like something has stuck itself to me. I'll certainly give both the prayers and charity a go.
