As a data point, a while back I posted that I work in a heavy vaxed company and had not heard of any problems with any of the hundreds of employees at large or the dozens in my org.

In the past month, one of the engineers, a man in his 20s, has gone missing. I have no idea what happened to him. He has not updated his LinkedIn and does not answer when I reach out. A designer in his 50s has stated that he's taking a trip to the ER for blood clot concerns.

And a day after this the company mandated vaxes for all in-office workers. This doesn't effect me currently, and may not for many months, but I expect it to before the end of 2022. I now have a definite answer and a time table to work towards for escaping deep blue-state madness.

I see this as an opportunity, personally. I have a very creative set of proposals that I think have a better than 0% chance of working out. I'm reluctant to divine on them, however.
