Interesting. I watched both of those films and I didn't know that they were loosely referencing the same group of demons. Where is the reference in Midsommar? In light of what JMG has said about pacts, he will be one to watch around the years 2025/2026 if the secret to his success is indeed Mephistophelean. I was worried for the young people who starred in Hereditary, especially the girl whose character dies of an allergic reaction. It wasn't right to put that image into anyone's head, including hers.
