I don't know how storms build in other areas such as the middle of Canada, but here we will have a spate of increasingly humid, oppressive weather and then a violent storm. The latest one brought tornadoes that obliterated a couple of suburban neighborhoods. I think the mask/vax thing is like that: it is building towards a nasty outbreak, and then there will be coolness and fair weather for a time.
