Thanks. I was the one who thought I was going crazy and I was the one who originally sought psychiatric help & testing at the time. The meds stopped me from having suicidal urges but overall they made everything worse -- they kicked the can down the road as far as dealing with the problems. I fired my shrink in my early 20s.
Maybe psychiatry in its modern form has worked for someone but I see it as a sham. The only difference between modern modes of psychiatric treatment and Walter Freeman's ice pick lobotomies is the current method of lobotomizing the patient is chemical.
