If they are killed without fanfare, there is no martyrdom for them. No glory. Just a quiet execution. So on second thought, guillotine or hanging would not be good because it is too dramatic. Probably just lethal injection, broadcast live. They are calm and they get to say their goodbyes before going to hell for a while.
