To review: I started out this past week visiting my mother's side of the family, which I haven't seen in a decade. While the reunion was brief, as the family had gathered for the funeral of my uncle, and my presence was incidental, several bridgeheads were (re)established, to be connected at a later date. I did manage to teach my youngest cousin how to use a film camera, while I myself took and gave away the remaining Polaroids I had brought with me. The remainder of the week was a mixture of traveling back and work.
