Yeah I agree that this will be a likely outcome. I did read your demon series, and it does seem rather plausible that the more deranged among the left are demonically possessed to varying degrees of magnitude.
Re: Hillary, if she is/was possessed, I'd think it would be some more powerful or higher level entity than the garden variety that possesses some ordinary resentful loser who thinks the world is out to oppress them. After all Hillary has quite the rap sheet of evil acts behind her to gain the attention of something higher up the demonic food chain.
And finally, as you've alluded to, the counter-reaction to all of this could be huge and quite swift, i.e. 'pedogate' and the increasing popular awareness that demons do indeed exist and have been running amok as of late. I do fear though that this could result in another fanatical moral panic and that a lot of things that have little-to-nothing to do with the actual problem get guilt-by-association'd under the new target umbrella.
