It's certainly an issue for a great many people who perceive EVERYTHING that talks to them as Jesus. 99.999 percent of the time, it isn't Jesus. As for when people jump on a brief encounter as the end-all, be-all revelation of the secrets of the universe, that is quite common. It's a combination of Magic Pill syndrome and False Transcendence of the kind the Ogham talk about in the card Ailm. Modernity is hexed with those two beliefs (formidable astral pyramids in their own right). The Magic Pill or panacea is the substance that cures all ills. For instance, the miracle food, herb, or surgical procedure that allegedly solves whatever lifestyle damage the human has done to herself: Ozempic springs readily to mind. MRNA quaxxes were a variation on the theme. Marijuana is often attributed with all sorts of benefits it simply doesn't have. As for false transcendence or "fake it 'til you make it", that instinct goes septic very easily. I have had my own issues with it despite serious attempts at not doing that anymore. Most influencers suffer from it and their images are textbook examples of false transcendence: a pretty front designed to fool others into thinking you've got it all handled when nothing could be further from the truth. Like the charismatic evangelicals of old, the more fake they are on the outside, the more they die inside every time they force a new display of how great and wonderful they are... *cough* Joel Osteen *uncough*
