Thank you, Zefyr. Yes, YouTube used to be a haven for atheists and atheism -- the wind truly went out of their sails when Christopher Hitchens died (and when their darling Ayaan Hirsi Ali converted to Christianity). From the account of someone who knew Hitchens, he was half in the bag for most of his speaking career. He was the ultimate high-functioning alcoholic. I still think he was brilliant in ways Sam Harris, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Richard Dawkins will never be. But being brilliant did not save him from being wrong, or at least wrong in my humble opinion. At the time, I think it needed to be said that religion was and is responsible for a great deal of stupidity and suffering. Hitchens was the right person to say it at the time. If Sam Harris had been in his prime in 1960, he would have likely been an American Buddhist or Hindu and just as insufferable as he is now. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is the D List with delusions -- he is a walking, talking example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Dawkins is a broken clock who is right every now and then, until his gigantic ego forgets to use its inside voice. In my Ogham, this is Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified.

I'm glad the atheism trend went out with the tide. I think it is the primary reason we have so much shock-Satanism in the media, from Sam Smith looking like a nightmare that popped out of Porky Pig's bachelor party cake to legions of wannabe witches feeling the aftermath of all those hexes they threw at Trump and Kavanaugh. They are all trying to prove to themselves that occult stuff isn't just all in their imagination and they are doing it the hard way.

You have a great day as well.
