In the You position, you got Tinne (Holly) or Defense, ill-dignified. I would beef up your health regime, take zinc lozenges or use zinc throat spray, get some mild exercise, and drive extra cautiously if you have to use a car. For the middle Situation position, you drew Fearn (Alder) or Guidance well-dignified. You'll have the opportunity to connect with your guardian spirits and/or gods. The overall Lesson outcome is Straif (Blackthorn) or Strife, well-dignified. Whatever you go through this week will serve as an object lesson to make you stronger when your will is questioned or an outside force tries to sway you towards its/their direction instead of your own direction.

For your question about your mother, they say Yes. They give me Ioho, (Yew) Grace. This means that she lacks grace and will cling to that which is beyond its time. It also means that you can deal with her best by invoking the spirit of Grace, or Endings. Ioho means accepting death in all its forms, whether it is in the form of a season such as winter, the end of an era, or the cessation of a relationship that cannot be fixed.

The first, in the You position is Nuin, (Ash) or Communication ill-dignified. This one means that Communication outside your immediate circle won't be great. Either you'll find your efforts to get your message to the outside world falling short and/or you will find that people are understanding them as you would prefer.

The second card that stands for your Situation is Gort (Ivy) Perseverance well-dignified. Gort indicates that via persevering, you can overcome the challenge presented by the first card. Slow and steady wins the race!

Lastly, you drew Mór or the Sea. This means Sea Change and indicates a big change either for you, for your environment, or for both. I draw this card a great deal because the Sphere of Protection has changed me so much over the last few years.

For the LRM, my Ogham give me Quert (Apple) or Delight ill-dignified. I think this points to it being a bit too serious or formal of an approach for you personally, though that doesn't necessarily apply to someone else.

For the Druid Magic Handbook system, they give me Onn (Gorse) or Community, well-dignified. This is a clear message from them that the outcome for you is better if you go the Druid route. Community not only indicates you'll find your tribe of fellow humans, but that the unseen beings and egregores of that particular system are "right up your alley".

I hope you'll see this -- after much thought, I now realize I should not have done that reading for you as your sister might use it to influence a medical decision.

Medical doctor Sara Beltran Ponce miscarried her baby at 14.5 weeks. She got the shot a few days earlier. She is far from the only person who has suffered an adverse reaction to the vaccine.

Personally, I will NOT be getting the vaccine even if authorities threaten my livelihood or freedoms over it. I think it is dangerous and there isn't any accountability among the powerful people who are trying to force everyone to get it.

No worries. She has gotten conflicting advice and is still deciding. Feel free to delete the question and thread of comments though, if you prefer. (I can delete my question too.)

I am not getting it either, despite the pressure at work. Luckily I am in a position where I am low priority, but others at my work are facing intense scrutiny. And the funny thing is, it's the ideals of Progress running headfirst into the ideals of Woke-ism. The progressive leaders "sympathize" with the resistance of our minority coworkers to get vaccinated (who are almost all low-level, frontline workers) based on historical precedent, but those minority coworkers just need to understand that science is the best and the vaccines are awesome. Le sigh.

What I find amazing about the bootlicking Progressians is how they are the same people who will insist abortion is every woman's right because her bodily autonomy is sacred, yet they don't allow the same exact person to avoid a shot that is known to cause Bell's Palsy, miscarriage, severe rash, fever, and even death... because Science, yo. "Science" has become a thought-stopper to the point where we have people putting signs in their yard that say "I believe in science". Um, that's not how science is supposed to work...

I'm pro-abortion, by the way -- I don't think a woman should be forced to carry a baby to term. Sometimes late-term abortions are necessary, for instance, when a woman is carrying multiples and one is dying, which puts the others and the mother at risk. Or if the baby will require extraordinary measures to be kept alive after its birth because of deformity or disease.

At every turn, the Progressians and the Wokesters prove themselves as hypocrites.

Will the rest of my family ever stop believing in Progress?

My Ogham say Yes. They give me Fearn, Alder or Guidance. Some in your family will lose their belief in Progress, if not all. Unfortunately, the trap within your question is that people often stop believing in Progress long before they do anything to change their own behaviors to adapt to Progress being over and done with.

Hi Kimberly, thank you for offering this service. I would really appreciate a reading on my spiritual situation. I am having trouble interpreting my ogham on this because I think I am too emotionally invested in the answer! Honestly I just want to do what is best for my spiritual life and work together with, and not against, whatever cosmic forces are moving me.

So, I think my question is, Which path will be more conducive to my spiritual growth, working with the Druid deities or with esoteric Christianity? Please feel free to rephrase this question in whichever way you think will give the clearest answer!

My Ogham are being jerks today. I asked them "What is the outcome for the Druid deities?" and they said Muin (Grapevine) or Harvest. For the outcome of the esoteric Christian path, they gave me Duir (Oak) or Gifts.

Both are equally good outcomes for you. The Druid path being Grapevine will lead you down the garden path, most likely literally, and you'll find yourself growing and communing with food and medicinal plants and their spirits. The path of Harvest seems to indicate a focus on practical skills such as food gardening, collapse now avoid the rush stuff.

The path of Duir is one of generosity. Go down the Christian path and you'll be tasked with becoming like Jesus -- giving without thought of your own self will transform you as your not-so-great qualities are burned off in the crucible of human spirit alchemy. The gifts you'll give and receive will be nothing short of miraculous.

Pretty cool either way, I think!

This is spot on and clarifies a lot of what I’ve been working through internally, especially Muin. My drawings have also indicated that there is no perfect path chosen for me, but that I have to choose and commit. It’s a choice between different but both beneficial paths. This week, you have three cards.

The first is the You position: it's Saille (Willow) ill-dignified. Sensitivity is off somehow this week for you, whether it is you being too sensitive and having to fight off lots of grimy astral chatter or being rendered insensitive or a mixture of both is for you to discern. JMG often suggests eating animal flesh in order to combat this but I disagree. Usually it is a matter of balancing your gut as the gut and intuition are deeply linked. I suggest hoodoo baths if necessary, wearing a protection amulet, and paying attention to your digestion, especially the way it affects your mental state, and making small adjustments as necessary.

The second card you drew for Situation is Nuin (Ash) or Communication, well-dignified. This means that you will be a good messenger and you will be able to connect with those well outside of your intimate circle/the greater world.

For the Lesson, you got Luis (Rowan) Protection, ill-dignified. This means that the karmic lesson this week will be pointing out the dangers of either overprotection or vulnerability. Look out for overprotection in the form of molly-coddling, censorship overreach, and other bull in a china shop measures that cause more trouble than they prevent. Vulnerability could point to being over-depended on, like Atlas forced to carry the weight of the whole world, or fragile systems pushed to the breaking point.

I want to cut my internet use, and have come up with the following affirmation: "I live an analogue life". However, as mucking about with my psyche carries certain risks, I'd like to ask for divination before jumping in.

What will happen if I use this affirmation?

My Ogham say this affirmation is no bueno. The result is Onn, or Community (Gorse) ill-dignified, which means you'll end up cut off from beneficial communities and opportunities if you follow through with this affirmation.

My advice is to take a different approach. Instead of going the whole hog and affirming you live an analogue life, maybe try a gentler lessening of the worst aspects of the internet. For instance, "The time I spend on the internet benefits my higher self, and when it doesn't, I lose the urge to be online." Let's say you have the urge to watch or do something garbagey online. Say, "Well, that's fine for some, but I don't do that anymore" and put the computer on sleep and go do something else, for instance, go make a snack or read a book. However, if you are doing something constructive online, like learning how to fold origami from a video, researching DIY solar water heaters, or reading John Michael Greer's essays, I don't think "excessive use of the internet" is a factor.

You'll have to examine the parts of yourself that want to overreact or under-react when confronted. Unfortunately, they are saying that the work environment will become hostile at times and that you will have to strike a good personal balance so that you are resilient in the face of it.

That’s a surprise. It’s the friendliest place I’ve ever worked. I hope the Ogham doesn’t mean the store will be robbed (it never has been in 50 years). I’ll let you know.

Let's hope they're wrong! I used to work retail and though they were few and far between, I worked in good places sometimes. Every now and then, the good places would have super-annoying customers or shoplifters or some drama. Other than that, it was a good experience. I can see my Ogham trying to prepare you for annoying customers or random b.s. with Tinne, meaning that if you like the place, just be fairly warned that putting up with that crap will be the price of admission from time to time. Ogham is a gentle method divination overall, nowhere near as harsh as Tarot!

I must say, Deplorables are a lot nicer to work with than the jumped-up mean girls you encounter in Federal offices!

Your Oghams may have meant the heavy lifting gets to me. I’m getting used to it, slowly.

They were right—the big boss, the only non-Deplorable—saw me drop somebody’s grapes and fired me. However, I now know how to run a cash register and have become used to standing for long periods, so I will move merrily on to the next place (which also pays more). I look at this as paid training. 😉

Everyone I know has been fired from at least one [unDruidly word]ty job so I got my rite of passage in. I know one person who was fired from a fast food place, I forget which one, and ended up back there as a manager a few years later. She never did figure that one out!

Oh my goodness, that's terrible! It sounds like you are taking it in stride. The managerial class is in a state of psychotic break -- it's sad you had to be on the receiving end of some of their psychosis. Be blessed.

I’m not so much wanting a “what’s going on this week” reading as much as I’m wondering about a couple of synchronicities associated with summer and winter solstice.

Before I participated in a summer solstice ceremony at my homestead, an unfortunate incident occurred. A two year old, young buck deer broke his neck while running away from my dog. He was trying to jump through some honeysuckle which was draped over a stout wooden fence post.

Okay, that shook me up and made me sad, but I didn’t think much more of it than that some kind of sacrifice was part of the ceremony. Maybe.

Well this Winter Solstice my pony died two days before the day. What’s mysterious and significant is the night we buried him, a windstorm caused a Douglas Fir tree to blow over, it’s tip top branches landing exactly on my pony’s grave. Even more weird was that the tree, which was about sixty feet tall threaded it’s way between the other trees in the grove and only broke some wire fencing. The shed it could have broken, the canoe it could have smashed, the wooden fence posts it could have splintered all were completely missed.

So, if it’s not too complicated a reading, I’m wondering what significance deer paired with honeysuckle has, and what significance horse/pony with Douglas fir has, and do I need to do anything to avert any more disasters like this.

And I’m a little worried about animals dying at the four ceremonies....I hadn’t done fall equinox this year, for various reasons—mostly I forgot, I’m embarrassed to admit.

Ponies and horses are sacred to Jupiter and so is the fir tree -- to me, the incident with your pony (RIP) seems quite clear in its message. Your pony's spirit was protecting you and directed the way the tree fell.

I would do some planetary charity to Zeus/Jupiter as well as praying to Zeus/Jupiter to help your pony on his journey into his next lives.

As for the deer, I asked my Ogham "Is the deer dying related to the Solstice?" They give me Yes, Muin (Grapevine) well-dignified. Muin is Harvest and it seems your instinct is correct, the deer was sacrificed. Next summer solstice, maybe try respectfully offering a libation to Mars at the honeysuckle bush. Deer are ruled by Venus and Honeysuckle is ruled by Mars, after all (this is information from Rex E. Bills Rulership Book). Additionally, sudden death is ruled by Mars. Have you tried talking to the spirits who live in that pocket of your land and asking why they want? I would guess they want to talk with you, judging from the extreme nature of what you describe. I think all this business around the Solstices is meant to get your attention.

I asked my Ogham: "What should she do in order to get along with the spirits on her property?"

Interestingly, they give me three cards.

They give me Ioho, (Yew) or Grace, which means accepting death in all its forms. You will have to let go of certain dreams and loves as a result of living on the property. This seems to indicate that there must be a sufficient amount of time for rest and respect for the sacredness of dreamtime -- you could please the spirits by letting an area of your land go permanently fallow. Are you rescuing animals? Ioho could be talking about using your land as a sanctuary to allow formerly maltreated animals to live out their final years in peace.

The Situation card they give me is Beith (Birch) or Birth. This energy is that of Beginnings and is clearly related to the previous "letting go" card Ioho. By letting go of some things and attitudes, you'll make way for the new.

The final Lesson card is Koad, or Confluence. This indicates that you will be successful in your efforts to listen to the land and learn what it wants. The land might not like formal Solstice ceremonies... you might want to ask it how it feels about that.

All three cards were well-dignified.

We have a quarter acre part of our land which has some fir forest on it, thus it’s called “the Quarter Acre Wood”

I let the ponies and goats graze on it some times, but don’t do much else there. Perhaps I’ll just keep them off of it entirely so it can be wholly fallow. There’s some very old rusted out car pieces and wagon parts there, and some pieces of old wire fencing. This land has been homesteaded for over a hundred years and the farmers in the past would just pile up their junk away from the house. We’ve lived here for 26 years and have been gradually cleaning up the stuff as we find it. It’s occasionally interesting to find some of the stuff.

Anyway, that little parcel would be the best place to allow to go fallow.

We also have a hedgerow that helps protect some of the little people who share the land. I will occasionally see one of them out of the corner of my eye. My husband has told me he’s been seeing them more often this year. We think it’s a benefit of daily SoP on the land.

As far as rescuing animals, I take care of a Crazy Cat Lady level of cats, all rescued from either the local shelters, or who have shown up to live here. The oldest one is 21, Geranium, who showed up as a little black kitten in my planter in town outside my office when I was watering the geraniums. There are nine others living here too.

My ponies are rescues too. So is my dog. I try to be judicious about taking on more because it gets expensive and uses up a good part of my disposable income!

I like your suggestion about offering a libation at the honeysuckle vine when next Summer Solstice comes around.

I haven’t yet asked the land about if it wants formal ceremony, mostly because it’s cold outside and I’d like to be sitting on the land to ask.

I’m not entirely sure how to do a planetary charity. Is there a source I can check to get instructions?

I didn't realize you were already rescuing! Yes, it is a TON of work and people think it's a license to dump their animals on you -- you really have to make a stand against that. I have a friend who runs a sanctuary and people constantly try to dump their animals on her.

Essentially, I think planetary charity is best when you pick something you're REALLY good at and then dedicate it to the right god at the right time. I'm good at making original music, so my planetary charity takes the form of composing, recording, and performing Orphic Hymns. Let's say you're good at a handicraft -- you might make that craft and humbly devote it to Hermes on your altar on a Wednesday during his hour in order to gain his help with a reading comprehension project. Or if you're good at making cookies, you might leave a few cookies in your hedgerow dedicated to Aphrodite on a Friday during her planetary hour for five consecutive weeks.

As I said to another commenter above, get yourself some zinc lozenges and suck on them after meals 2-3x per day, fit in some mild exercise, and be extra careful driving or anytime when you are doing something potentially dangerous. Tinne ill-dignified can also indicate overprotective urges -- always examine your efforts to protect and whether or not they are working correctly.

The Outcome card is Nuin (Ash) or Communication, well-dignified, which means that your relationship with the outer world will be harmonious this week -- either you will benefit from information that comes from well outside your circle or information you disseminate will positively impact someone far away or both.

They give me one card: Limits. They say Eadha, ill-dignified, which is crystal clear: You absolutely must figure out where you end and another person begins, and that doesn't just mean the physical plane. Accepting what you cannot control and learning to live with it is your challenge, and of course that is MUCH easier said than done.

I recommend studying the Stoic philosophers and doing at least one discursive meditation a day.

My Ogham say Yes, they give me Beith or Birch or Beginnings. I think this means the person is a baby energy vampire that does not know what they are doing. Keep in mind though that most modern people suffer from etheric starvation, and that condition immediately turns them into energy vampires. Pretty much everyone I meet on any random day is an energy vampire: the only way to become "energy efficient" LOL in this day an age is to do a daily banishing ritual and/or pray and have a good relationship with the gods.

An image of a baby vampire trying to get blood is a bit funny lol. And yes, there are bad days where I can see that same activity on my end, always a good reminder to remove the log from my eye as well.

I was just asking as the ex who I've been trying to maintain a friendship with, after our relationship ended, has been really tough to deal with. Lots of attention needed, lot of fights/drama. I got so drained and migrained that the SoP has been really helpful, though our worst moments usually occur the day after I do the banishing. Appreciate the information.
