My Ogham seem to think you guys should try to find a place to live in the US.

I asked them "What is the outcome of going back to Europe?" They gave Ruis or Regret ill-dignified, which clearly states you will regret it if you return to the Old Country.

Then I asked them "What is the outcome of finding a free state in the US to settle down?" They answered Phagos or Teaching well-dignified. Phagos is symbolized by the Beech tree. It's a card of great stability and power.

"Life gets quiet when you get old." I HOPE SO!! I identify with Henry Pulling, pre-travels with his aunt, tending to his dahlias...

My Ogham say it will be extremely difficult to leave Canada, but it will absolutely work out well for you if you go. They provide Huath or Obstacles well-dignified. Huath is symbolized by the formidable American Sycamore in my Ogham. There is only one way to get what you want (expatriating in this case) and there are no other workarounds. The rewards on the other side are rich and hard to attain.

My Ogham give you three cards as advice.

For the You position, they give you Oír or Epiphany ill-dignified. This points to a couple of potential imbalances to watch for. One is the false epiphany -- you think you are over it when no, you're actually not. You can't fake it until you make it on this one. Another form of bad epiphany is none at all. Is the Universe trying to beat you over the head with a lesson but you've turned off your ears? Journaling and paying attention to your dreams can help in this case.

For the Situation, they provide Gort or Perseverance well-dignified. You or someone close to you is good at sticking to their goal through thick and thin. This is a good month to look at things you've held onto that helped you greatly and things you should have let go or gotten rid of (psychology of previous investment). How can your experiences concerning perseverance inform your decisions this month?

For the Outcome, you drew Huath ill-dignified. Huath is a card when in excess that means you are trying to force an outcome or to get that which is not meant for you. If there is an opposite imbalance, it means you are running away or capitulating at the first push from an opposing force, meaning the Ogham say you need to get more backbone.

My Ogham have three cards for you today.

For your first question, why you feel alienated from your family, they provided Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. This is to say you are more sensitive than your family members. It is not a bad thing. You are aware of what you want out of life in a way they are not. Because they suffer from sloppy intentions, they have ended up with a banquet of consequences -- one or more of them feels unfulfilled and miserable via many acts of Sartrean bad faith. You are not encumbered in that sense and therefore you can't identify with them. They are their own enslavers/captors and you don't want to participate in the games they make for themselves.

For your second question, why you feel alienated from your upbringing, they answered with Nuin ill-dignified. This is sad because it speaks of family treating you like a stranger or worse, so no wonder you disdain your upbringing. It could also be talking about allowing strangers into the family indiscriminately via bad marriage or other ways of absorbing new family members.

For your third question, why do you feel alienated by your culture, they provide Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified. You don't feel at home in your culture because it does not allow you express your true self. There is a great deal of subconscious garbage your culture squashes and buries and that is extremely unhealthy. You are better off adopting a new culture/cultures that is/are more honest. You can still pay homage from time to time to your culture of origin.

What kind of memorial service does Ogham suggest my sister and i should plan for our reciently departed mother (93y). Mom had indicated she didn't want much fuss.

I am currently planning to move when my lease ends at the end of March and I'm wondering if your ogham can help me decide on the destination. I'm currently living in a working class neighborhood of a major blue city.

The three options I'm considering are:

1) To move to the outer edge of the metro area, where the blue suburbs fade into red rural counties. This would keep me closer to extended family and some old friends.

2) Move several hours drive away from the metro area but remain in the same blue state. I have old friends there and this would put me in a very rural red area, but I'd still be under the very PMC dominated state government. Work would be a bit more scarce, but the cost of living would be significantly lower.

3) Move out of this state entirely. I could pick a less PMC dominated area at both the local and state level, and try to get a similar low cost of living, but would be striking out on my own. I don't know anyone at any of the locations I have in mind.

I'm not sure if this question is too open ended, but I figured I'd ask.

Last week's reading (Ngetal or Hygiene ill-dignified, Onn or Community ill-dignified, Phagos or Teaching) seems to have been spot on. Had to go to my local hospital for a blood test and learned they have a new policy where you can't just wear a mask in, you have to switch to one of their masks. The test found my iron was low so I needed to take additional iron supplements. Then (luckily after my test), this same hospital just started requiring a negative PCR test to enter. This is not my planned delivery hospital since it doesn't have a NICU. But I'd better find a different lab to do future blood tests at, because PCR tests are very hard to find where I live and some are very expensive too. So my local community hospital is doing this and the city hospital where I'm supposed to deliver is not...

I have the usual question of what's up for me this week? Thanks again for doing this!

There really isn't a bad side to Duir, so if it is unbalanced, it means either you will have a bit too many gifts for your own good, otherwise known as privilege, and that means your job is to pay them forward as much as possible. The opposite imbalance which is not really an imbalance at all is you will be too generous with your time or resources, and that generosity will sublimate according to the degree of purity in which it was given.

For the Middle or Situation position, you got Onn or Community well-dignified. You'll find or be able to use your niche well this week. You'll have good and harmonious relationships among acquaintances and semi-strangers. Treat them well and they'll reward you for it.

For the Karma or Outcome, you got Saille or Sensitivity ill-dignified. If you have too much of this influence, it means that you are not discriminating enough and you need to slam some limits down, or else you risk letting in a lot of stuff that will cause trouble both now and later. Another imbalance to look out for is over-defensiveness. The Ogham say there is no need to be paranoid and paranoia won't help -- think of compulsive hand washers who actually end up compromising their immunity by washing their hands until they crack and bleed... whoops!

For the Outcome, you drew Ioho ill-dignified. There is either not room for the appropriate amount of rest this week or there is too much restfulness/inertia. This is also a card of not letting go of what isn't meant to be.

As for your friend, they advise you not to meddle and they are quite plain about it. My Ogham have three cards for you in regards to your relationship with your partner. Interestingly they are all well-dignified, which is a good omen for your future.

For the You position, you drew Saille or Sensitivity. This card is ruled by Aphrodite. This seems like a fairly direct message to propitiate to Aphrodite and consider starting a prayer relationship to her as she is obviously the foremost adviser when it comes to love and raising children. It is also a card of excluding that which you do not love so you can focus on what you do love in this short lifetime. What parts of your life that you are lukewarm about can you think about getting rid of entirely in order to keep the heat on what you truly want? Food for thought.

For the Situation card which is representing your partner, Ruis or Regret shows up. Your partner learns the benefit of Regret, both his own and that which has been regretted by others. My Ogham give a strange answer. They say your hunch is not correct but the identity of the deity is correct. For the hunch, they say you must do further divination and contemplation concerning it. They give you Gort or Perseverance ill-dignified, meaning the deity may be testing you for how well you follow through. For the identity, it's a well-dignified Coll or Wisdom saying that it's one and the same.
