Open Post and Cat Pictures

The black cat is a former feral from our yard, Shadow Shadilay Sniffles Spazzimodo Steele. The gray guy is his new BFF from our local humane society, Ashley Amore Reed Cockleburr Steele. My husband built them the PVC cat tree.

That is a great cat tree!

You have given my husband ideas I may regret in my living room... ;-)

That's great. I'm happy the two get along.

Cute! Those are pretty long monikers for a couple of little critters! If they are like any of the cats I've known, they won't answer to any one of the names you've titled them with. Many cats are too independent to actually acknowledge their name, though I've heard a few do.

AWWWWWWWWW!

And that cat tree is fantastic!

Nice cat tree!

I must say, Mr Steele is a talented builder. Any tips ? I notice the pipes seem well covered with carpeting. Did he glue this on, if that’s the case?

Those kitties are adorable too!

These are lovely pictures!

I'm the one who asked about a job on the Ogham post, and have an update: it turns out that the vaccine requirement is a bylaw: the city will, starting next Monday, fine any restaurant that employs the unvaccinated a quarter million dollars per hour worked, per person.

The restaurant owner was extremely apologetic, and said that if I was vaccinated he really needs me, since most of his staff will be gone in less than a week. I'm not, but he's still going to give me training and pay me (quite well) until Sunday.

The realization I had is that I have no future here in Canada, and I need to leave the country ASAP. If I'm still here after November 30, I have no way out, and so I need to reshape my priorities big time if I'm going to find a way out before that deadline....

I am quite fond of picture number 2 myself! What is it with cats and boxes?

My dog Jasper (just turned a year old) loves boxes too, but for chewing. We constantly have bits of cardboard strewn about!

Am I correct to think this is you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7hOUkJzcCM

If so, thank you! This will be really useful for me: I've been trying to learn to sing, and while this is currently no real help, the humming makes sense to me, and I think with practice I can learn a lot from this exercise.

I think I will, with a lot more practice. You're right that it takes a lot of time to get it, but I think it will be well worth the effort it takes.

Such pretty kitties! And I love that cat tree -- such a good idea to build it from PVC. It looks very sturdy and should last much longer than any store bought one.

Ogham update

[personal profile] slithytoves123 2021-10-07 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
A few weeks ago on Ogham Monday I asked you about taking a trip, and then sent you an update with an over-dramatized account of why it was shaping up to be a bad idea. It turned out to be much simpler: I felt miserable that weekend, for no apparent reason. I mean just cranky to the max. Probably I was just exhausted.

Just wanted to give you an update!

Say a prayer for mu kitten Jewel she’s been stuck in a tree since Sunday, we can’t get to her or get anyone to come save her.

(Anonymous) 2021-10-08 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
Has she come down yet? And she will come down—she won’t like it, but she’ll do it. She’ll be very upset; maybe give her some tuna at her regular feeding time. (You don’t want her associating spending several days in a tree with getting tuna.)

Cute!

Shadow has grown since the last pictures. Ashley looks like he’s already grown.

Bayourennaisanceman.blogspot.com has a two-toned, black/gray cat. Not a tabby but black on top of gray. He hasn’t put up any pictures of Ashbutt in a while but would probably do so if asked.

Oops! Should be bayourenaissanceman.blogspot.com. First time in my life I’ve ever misspelled a word and I had to do it in front of a bunch of people. 😵

Hi Kimberly -

Cute kitties!

I have a question for you about working with Ogham.

Would you be willing to share which books or other resources on the topic you found particularly helpful? I would like to start learning more about the system.

Thanks.

Hi,

I just wanted to pass this vid along.
Clif High has a lot of ppl who contact him, he says, especially a lot of younger ppl who don't know anything about how to fight for themselves legally.
It is very good.
'Strategies and tactics for legal efforts against the deathjab' is how he describes this vid:

https://www.bitchute.com/video/RXvR3XPTcyNa/

and here is his channel in general:
https://www.bitchute.com/channel/HBBwqdoMy7Gz/

His vids are great. He talks a lot about what is going on, and where we are etc during this whole bizzare thing.
Very good stuff.
