Absolutely, there is an insane amount of entitlement among people and an unbelievable level of overestimating what they bring to the table. More accurately, a lack of any knowledge that there is anything they even should bring to the table besides their sack of bad habits and laziness.

"Changing myself is too hard so why not just complain loudly with all my similarly lazy peers until we change society?"

I suppose the underlying hidden logic is that if everyone collectively decides to stop trying then nobody will have to try ever again and the opposite sex will just be forced to take whatever they can find.

Another pet peeve of mine is men and women who are significantly overweight or average to below average in the looks department but who are obsessed with landing a piece of arm candy. Translation from the Bulls**tese in such cases is "Don't you dare judge me on my looks, which of course I'll do next to nothing to care about or maintain, but I'm going to choose you mostly for your good looks and then drain the life out of you with guilt in our relationship."

My whole life I've battled this particular affliction so I understand why people who are overweight feel like they can't change it. That still doesn't mean I'm going to bring them into my life so they can drag me down with them when I already make a life practice of keeping a healthy body. I'm hardly Adonis but I'm also not exactly difficult to keep up with if there's even minimal effort applied.

I swear the level of helplessness displayed by some of these people and the ridiculous "fat logic" they can come up with is out of this world. I think my favorites are things like "I'm just genetically fat" or "I don't want to eat too little because I've heard that your body goes into 'starvation mode' and hangs onto calories even more fiercely and you just get fatter."

I'd LOVE for them to show me all the 800 lbs starving African children whose bodies went into 'starvation mode' and turned them into pure fat blobs. Where are the pictures of WWII concentration camp victims who were half a ton each?

Then there are the women who accuse men of rape simply because the dudes were lousy and inconsiderate in bed.

From the article it isn't even that anymore. You can just be less than attractive and make an awkward pass and be accused of a crime. That is the kind of behavior that would have to get a woman canceled and mocked endlessly online for this sort of thing to stop.
