Hi! I’d appreciate a reading about this week. Thank you!

This should be an overall good week for you, according to my Ogham. All of your cards were well-dignified, though I don't read the first one as well-dignified because it is part of the Ogham I consider too complicated for positive or negative interpretation.

For the You position, they give me Phagos (Beech) or Knowledge. This means your expertise in some area will save you considerable grief. It also indicates you might share your knowledge with someone who really needs it, generating good karma for yourself.

For the Situation position, they give me Muin (Nightshade) or Harvest. You or someone close to you will reap a good harvest, meaning they will finally earn a goal they have invested in. It could also mean that you are in a situation where you reap the rewards of your prior investment, such as a person you put faith in succeeding because of you. It's a reason to celebrate.

For the karma or Outcome position, you drew Onn (Monarda) or Community. This card indicates that you will have a harmonious image in the eyes of your outer circle, meaning people you work with, your neighbors, or non-immediate family.

Hi Kimberly, thank you for doing this once more!

I have two questions this week, if you don't mind:

First, I start my electrical training course this week. What do your Ogham have to say on the topic of the first semester?

Second, last week I asked for divination on my involvement with the New Blue Party, and your Ogham said it would not go well. I just had a phone call with one of the people working for the party, and I think it went really well: they seem much better, down to earth, and realistic than I was expecting. They have their issues, but not as many or as badly as I was expecting.

My question here is simple: where is the problem with the New Blue Party your Ogham were trying to warn me about last week? Is it me, the party, or from the outside?

My Ogham predict a "meh" first semester. They give me Luis (Maple) or Protection ill-dignified, which seems to indicate that the leadership won't be all that great and that there will be an imbalance of protection: either under-protection or over-protection.

My Ogham say the problem with the New Blue Party has to do with Gort, which means Perseverance. This may mean they are going in a bad direction and persisting in it. It might mean they have trouble retaining good people because of internal problems or that they can't get anything done because they are barking up the wrong tree (Perseverance in the wrong direction). Keep in mind my Ogham aren't always correct and though some of their predictions are uncanny, they have steered me wrong on a handful of occasions and I was disadvantaged because of it. Overall, I find they are right most of the time in my personal readings, but there have been times where either I missed what they were driving at or they were altogether incorrect.

So, I got to "meet" the instructors, online of course (sigh), and given that there was talk of whether the Covid restrictions are enough, I think it's safe to say that it will be over-protection....

As for the New Blue Party, I'll let you know how it turns out in a year or so. So far your readings have been accurate for me, so I'm going to keep an eye out for it; it's entirely possible that I'm missing some key piece of information which will make the reading clear, but for now, it looks promising, so I hope you're wrong.

My question today: Is the Socialist Party positive for me? Should I get close to that Party?

My Ogham say No, it is not. They give me Beith (Birch) or Beginnings ill-dignified, which is to say my Ogham don't suggest getting started with them at all. Nevertheless, please see my advice to Mollari above... the Ogham aren't always correct, so I highly advise taking their advice with a grain of salt.

Oh, no surprises, I knew that party is mostly a bunch of rascals. But for historical reasons, Socialist Party is closer to me than other parties. I guess politics will increase their relevance in the future and when you want to achieve influence in politics, it doesn't hurt if you can claim prestigious figures such as Salvador Allende.

My Ogham predict some rough sailing.

For the You position, they give me Koad or Grove, which is to say it will be an extremely busy time and there is an aspect of karmic culmination you will be resolving as you begin this job. Karmic culminations aren't typically easy, so I would look at the factors influencing your life in an analytical way at that time: identify which ones are within your control, others that are beyond your control, and identify any acts of bad faith you are engaging in.

For the Situation position, they give me Nuin (Gingko) or Communication ill-dignified. This often indicates a total stranger's position toward you and might be talking about a co-worker or manager picking on you without good cause. Nuin ill-dignified can also indicate computer, mail, or telephony problems because it deals with communication across long distances.

For the final Outcome or karma position, they give me Beith (Birch) or Intention ill-dignified, which means the beginning weeks of the job will be rough going. Look for two potential types of imbalance: trying to achieve too much at once or being thwarted from getting started in some way, or both.

They don't give me a hard no on this one, but they say "there are other fish in the sea". They give me Mór or Sea ill-dignified, which to me says that Alina is good, but you might want to consider others as they are out there & might be just as good or better.

I wish I met an astrologer who is both competent in natal astrology and speak my language...

Thanks, glad you liked them! Yes, Nuin ill-dignified can point to a persnickety person or group of people who likes to nitpick: in the style of a nothing-is-ever-good-enough, insufferable, cheapskate gluten-free Karen at the crowded restaurant taking 15 minutes to order a single entree and then sending it back twice anyways before storming out of the restaurant without paying.

This week, my Ogham are saying you cannot catch a break. Sigh.

They give me Straif (Honey Locust) or Hardship ill-dignified for the You position, warning about the "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" effect that genuinely does start feeling like it's going to kill you. You need to make yourself a priority at all costs -- cut yourself some slack even if you have to directly oppose someone to do it.

For the Situation position, they give me Ur (Big Bluestem) Intimacy ill-dignified, which is another warning that someone close to you is being thrown out of balance or that this situation affects an intimate relationship of yours badly. Remember you may not have much power right now, but you do have the power to curate what you share with your most intimate people. For instance, there are things I share with my mom that I don't share with my dad or my husband, and there are things I share with dad that don't get shared with the other two, etc. Additionally, there are those things that I keep entirely to myself; there are secrets that are between me and the gods and nobody else.

Finally, they give me Ailm (Elm) or Transcendence ill-dignified. The karma or Outcome is that you won't be transcending this matter this week, so be warned of either being tempted to give up or feelings that it is over when it isn't yet over. Plus there is the risk you might have to force it to be over. Be ready for that.

For the You position, they give me Quert (Apple) or Delight, ill-dignified. Quert is the "stop and smell the roses" card. What it is saying is that you are missing out on the delightful parts of your life because of your perception that a soulmate would make them so much better. They are saying the grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side.

For the Situation position, they give me Fearn (Alder) or Bridge, well-dignified. You are in a period of major transition and you will feel better on the other side of it. Look towards role models and allies who inspire you rather than ones you are in a clandestine war with (sometimes this is subconscious).

For the Outcome position, they give me Muin (Nightshade) or Harvest, ill-dignified. They are saying it may be a karmic outcome that you must learn to be wholly happy with your own company. Have you ever had any glimpses of your past lives? Your current situation could have to do with past life karma. For instance, I was such an arrogant @$$hole as a performing musician in my past life, I was steered in the direction of music teaching and not much in the way of performance as a form of payback in this one. Additionally, I believe they are trying to warn you that a bad love relationship is far worse than none at all.

No, how do I find out about my past lives?

By far the best way is through discursive meditation. That's how I know about mine. The issue is learning to decipher which voices in your head are your own and which ones are not. Some of the voices are past incarnations trying to tell you something, but until you have the subtle senses that can separate the wheat from the chaff, it's pure emotion/confusion.

The start of the week is rough but it should be fine by the end of the week.

My Ogham give me three cards:

For the You position, they give me Straif or Hardship (Honey Locust) ill-dignified. You might be having a rough physical time or in some way you are being pressed.

For the Situation, they give me Gort (Bindweed) or Perseverance well-dignified. For me, Gort well-dignified means either robust health, solvent finances, or both. If you are working on a project or worried about someone, you can relax in either case.

For the Karma or Outcome position, they give me Luis (Protection) well-dignified. They indicate that you are balanced and are neither over-protecting nor under-protecting yourself and your loved ones. This is a difficult balance to strike. Such balance gives you access to much higher modes of protection, and those are spiritual forms of protection in the form of your Holy Guardian Angel and their advice for you.

It also places you in the role of advisor/father, giving out sage advice and help to those who need it. The karma for this is very good and will come back to you in time.

The Situation position reveals Oír or Epiphany. This is reassuring you that though you may not fully understand the ways the Universe is working, it is working. Oír is a card of quietly and politely going around the idiots and vanquishing them before they realize you were at war with them this whole time.

The final Outcome or karma is Luis or Protection ill-dignified. This means that you should watch out for unbalanced modes of protection: either too much or too little. Ironically, over-protection often bears the same results as under-protection. For instance, suburbanites think they're creating a safe environment by molly-coddling their children and shuttling them around in cars, when the end result is a suicidal teen who is in essence terrified of being outdoors.

Well, I just found out I can build a building twice as big as I thought without a permit out here in my rural area.

So what I want to know, is building the structure from scratch, rather than from a kit, a workable plan for me to have my semi retired practice out at my homestead?

Hi Annette,

They say building the structure from scratch is a good idea. They give me Fearn or Bridge/Guidance, which indicates that your best bet is not to build from a kit. My thoughts are they may be steering you towards a non-kit building because it will be easier to customize it and to use recycled and salvaged building materials. Fearn is a tree letter of flexibility much in the same vein as its consecutive tree letter, Saille.

Because this is in a situation area, they are most likely referring to someone else's imbalance that affects your personal equilibrium. Said imbalance could be too much reliance upon a guru or advisor figure, either on your part or on the part of someone close to you, or it could indicate a touch of solipsism, meaning a stubborn determination to do it all alone even though help is in order.

For the final position, they give me Ailm or Transcendence well-dignified. You choose to take the high road this week, and that is the sort of tendency that shapes a destiny, so it is of no small importance.
