I'm sorry, I didn't think I asked a yes or no question? I'm confused now. (For one thing, it's occurred to me that I might not be able to get the surgery I'm considering even if I decide to pursue it. Last week I asked what will happen if I *get* it, not what will happen if I *pursue* it, you know?) Has something changed since last week? No big deal, I'm just...befuddled here.

Anyway, thanks for the explanation! (I tried to search on it and wasn't sure if what I found applied to your system.) Thanks for taking the time!

No worries. Since you're anonymous and I don't make a note of IP addresses unless it's someone trolling me, just ask the question in a vague way, like "What will happen if I do Thing A instead of doing Thing B?"
