Ogham Readings on Saturdays

I'm back from break! It was very refreshing and productive and looking forward to reading for you all.
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):
I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. Please limit your reading request to four or fewer Ogham cards: though this can take many forms, here are some common ones (all of them are basically combos of 4 cards):
-a single three card reading for the week or month and a one-off, one card reading
-four questions about four separate items that require one answer (card) per item
-a one card reading to answer a specific question and a three card for a more nuanced question
-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices

-Two separate readings, two cards a piece exploring the positives and negatives of two different choices
I am happy to do Ogham readings confidentially via email -- just email me at k steele studio at gmail during the allotted time/before deadline. I cannot answer health questions. If you have a question about health or another sensitive, private matter, provide a bunch of non-identifying information and the Ogham will be able to figure it out even if I don't. I'm serious... the Ogham actually tend to "know" things without me being privy to what is going on.
Please note I take time off during Solstices and Equinoxes for Druid stuff and because sometimes I simply need a break.
My next planned break is from October 23 - November 6.

I hope you had a good week. Last week's reading on divination methods recommended that I focus on the sacred geometry oracle. I'm still a newbie, but I'm starting to get a sense of it; especially the part about emotions clouding readings.
This week I would like to ask the Ogham four related questions about an offer I received: A, B, C, and D.
Thank you,
Misty

Cool! If I wasn't so entrenched with Ogham I would be studying the Sacred Geometry Oracle. I have both the SGO and the cards available to lend from my library if anyone wants them, by the way.
I love sacred geometry -- hopefully I will have more time some day to make sacred geometry drawings with a protractor and compass as a hobby.
For A, the Ogham give Ngetal or Hygiene well-dignified. This one is good because it knows how to stay in its lane -- it's well suited as a choice without going overboard.
For B, the Ogham give Ur or Intimacy ill-dignified. This one discloses too much or puts personal relationships at risk. It is intrusive in some way.
For C, the Ogham give Beith or Intention ill-dignified. This one may mean well and miss the mark or it could be more sinister, leading astray or introducing crappy situations.
For D, the Ogham give Muin or Harvest well-dignified. This one yields good results, though you may have to wait for them.
Overall, A is the best because there is minimal risk and a minimum of waiting. It may not yield like D but it is the safest bet.

I'm interested in a three card reading for the next week.
Thanks.

The Ogham give you three cards this week, all well-dignified. As much as I would like to promise a cakewalk, it's seldom the case from what I have experienced with "sunny" readings like this, meaning I'll have a humdinger of a sinus headache yet I'll somehow power through. All well-dig is more of a sign of overcoming adversity at every turn.
For the You card, you drew Huath or Obstacles. This is one of my Ogham's danger cards, so risk aversion needs to be the theme this week. No running in socks or climbing sketchy ladders. Other than that, this talks about Martial force in balance, knowing when you have to apply copious mojo versus knowing when you have to hold back. Hopefully there is no drama where you have to swing into direct action and be a hero, but it is a possibility.
For the Situation, you drew Gort or Perseverance. This is a nice one to get, because it means your efforts are being noticed by the Divine and their helpers, but it also could point to a test of your endurance. Steady as she goes gets the job done -- just stay consistent, don't worry about the occasional lapse, and understand you are being re-sensitized to the subtle world.
For the Outcome, you drew Ailm or Transcendence. When you come to a place of inner stillness, there isn't a whole lot that can bring you down because you are vibrating at a level that is foreign to both them and who you were before. That's not to say they won't try.

To review: I had a longish day-trip this week. Ruis reminded me of the tendency for shenanigans the staff of my destination has regarding scheduling, and the need to plan out my own shenanigans to dance along. Traffic was "cute", and I let Tinne guide me to make stops on the way back, to both recover in part from the accumulated tiredness of the day, and to wait out jams caused by multiple incidents of road debris caused by dropped cargo and exploded tires. Saille contributed successfully to an attitude of smoothly transitioning from plan B to plan C and back to plan A as the day proceeded.
To ask: What is it that I need to know this week, according to the Ogham?

You drew three cards this week.
For the You position, you drew Onn or Community well-dignified. You are fitting into your niche and/or discovering new ones. One of the most difficult aspects of breaking out of a rut, especially one you have been in for a long time, is picking one thing to focus on to pull yourself out. You've got your sights on something important and new. Thinking about this and perhaps even writing it down may prove useful.
For the Situation, you drew Koad or Confluence well-dignified. Part of the current contentment and goodness has been solidly orchestrated by you, and you should give yourself credit for that. Focusing on the good and replacing worry with gratitude will help to sublimate the energy of the good and bring more of the same into Meatworld manifestation.
For the Outcome, you drew Coll or Wisdom ill-dignified. Know when to shut up, don't be afraid to play simple/dumb, and if in doubt, leave it out. You may be thrown into a situation where you have to deal with someone who is ignorant or someone who is not usually ignorant but decides to act that way... patience, patience!

(Anonymous) 2025-07-19 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)What does the Ogham think about how I should approach the week ahead. My tarot suggested (not very gently) that I am off track and need to get back on track. What's the outlook for that?
Best,
Deneb

My Ogham give you three cards.
For the You card, you drew Duir or Gifts ill-dignified. There is seldom a truly bad side to Duir, it's a benevolent card symbolized by the mighty Oak. You might not be using your gifts to their full potential. You are being pulled from all sides and you are going to have to set some limits. This may mean being a tad more selfish, but there is never any need to be rude. You can retreat and tactfully and kindly let people know you are tired and need rest.
For the Situation, you drew Muin or Harvest well-dignified. You've put some good things in place. You have been responsible and dependable. It's time to rest on your laurels a bit and let someone else take the wheel, at least partially. This is a learning process and it is OK to take it slow.
For the Outcome, you drew Mór or Sea ill-dignified. Much of the "off track" is not your doing. The collective astral is a periodically exploding dumpster fire at the moment. It's BAD. It's the same in my neck of the woods, with a great deal of anger, craziness, nightmares, and disease lurking around every corner of the imaginative realm. Lay low, save big decisions for another day, and generally batten down the hatches. It's not going to get better for a while.

(Anonymous) 2025-07-19 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)Hi Kimberley,
What would the outcome be if I started hobby A?
Thank you for your time.
no subject
The Ogham give Onn or Community ill-dignified for this hobby -- if you do it, expect it to be a lonely pastime that you do solely for personal fulfillment with no expectation of finding anyone else worth knowing who is into that. I have many hobbies that are extremely solitary, and it suits me, so it would be no problem if I drew this card for one of them.

(Anonymous) 2025-07-19 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)Not sure if this is a question for your Ogham or not, but maybe it can help.
I can't seem to figure out what god(s) or pantheon with which I should try to cultivate a relationship.
There does seem to be someone(s) out there looking out for me and helping me some of the time, but I don't know who it is or how to connect with them. I light incense and offer prayers to a vague divine, but I can't seem to reach any sort of breakthrough where I know to whom I'm talking, or "recognize" any particular divine figure. This isn't new; it's been going on literally all my life. Other people seem to have a relationship to a known deity, but the connection evades me. Does your Ogham have any advice for me?
no subject
My Ogham give you three cards of advice for cultivating relationships with gods:
For the You card, they provide Saille or Sensitivity well-dignified. You're actually in a better place than you think because you are not arrogant. You are assuming you know nothing or next to nothing, and the gods tend to like that a great deal better than know-it-alls who cannot learn. You have come a long way in sensitizing yourself to the spirit world. Of course there is more to come. Keep a journal so you can track your thoughts and impressions on this subject and meditate on what you receive. You are essentially sifting for gold when you meditate. There is a ton of sifting for very little gold.
For the Situation, you drew Luis or Protection well-dignified. This is your Holy Guardian Angel saying in very clear terms "I am here, talk to ME first". Your Holy Guardian Angel is not actually you -- it's connected to your higher self but it is not one and the same. Many HGAs were never human to begin with. The best way to contact the HGA is via discursive meditation, prayer, and a daily banishing ritual.
For the Outcome, you drew Phagos or Teaching ill-dignified. You are easily frustrated by unknowns. Part of your challenge is to cultivate grace when you cannot possibly know something. It's like an itch you cannot scratch. Be patient. It will all be revealed in time.
Three Questions
I have three questions this week. Thank you for this reading as I navigate the waters of my life having changed as the people around me are moving on and moving up.
What does your Ogham say about the outcome for R and W?
What does your Ogham say about the short term situation for my job?
What does your Ogham say about travel to see SS?
Thank you and have a great week.
Best,
Rooby
Re: Three Questions
My Ogham give you three cards.
For the Outcome of R and W, they give Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. Overwhelming force, underwhelming force, or an unfortunate combination of both in the wrong places and times is toppling the end product. Someone may be trying to force things and others may not be meeting anywhere near sufficient criteria.
For the situation at your job, they give Koad or Confluence ill-dignified. Something is out of balance and there might be some things you should do about it, as part of the imbalance is your doing. Be humble, but don't be a pushover or a whipping post.
For travel to see SS, they give Phagos or Teaching well-dignified, which is to say they like it. It will be a learning experience and it will provide a refreshed perspective to return to normal life with a brighter outlook.
Re: Three Questions
(Anonymous) 2025-07-20 12:22 pm (UTC)(link)I've been doing the SoP for a while with no gods (just the elements) because I didn't know who to put in, but then I moved to using the Druid gods specifically because you said they were patient. I guess I will continue to do so.
As for Elen and Mary, that's interesting. I'm not Catholic, but the one place in Catholic churches that I've ever felt some sort of presence is around Mary altars. When I visit churches, if there is an opportunity to light a candle and say a prayer to Mary, I do so. I also felt moved to pray to her during the scamdemic, asking her to help humanity find its way back to sanity, get "back on track" so to speak. Elen of the ways...hm.
Much to meditate on, I guess. Keep sifting....
Re: Three Questions
I am planning a future essay called "Where is God?" about my speculations on why the gods seem so distant right now. Much of this has to do with the average human's spiritual perception being essentially diseased as a condition of our time. The ancient Greeks invented the word hubris for good reason -- it truly is those who put words into God's mouth who are in more trouble than atheists, especially when the atheists in question are humble and are able to honestly say "I could be wrong" more than their theist counterparts.
As far as the sifting, yes, I cannot say that enough, and even in the case of sifting real gold on the physical plane, it was the typically merchants and vendors who sold to the prospectors who made lasting fortunes, not the prospectors themselves. I think that says a great deal about sifting for gold... if you want a fast fortune, sieving river sand is not the best way to do it!

You got an all well-dignified reading this week -- I will utter my usual caveat that an all well-dignified reading does not promise a rose garden! It merely means you are highly likely to triumph over whatever circumstances you are handed.
For the You position, you drew Mór or Sea. Let me know your secret as far as dwelling in a clean corner of the collective astral. Your astral milieu is cleaner than most, and you can take advantage of this for its clarity of vision. Long term life goals, relationship arcs, and even big purchases can be mapped out with success.
For the Situation, you drew Onn or Community. You are occupying a niche you should be grateful for, as very few have the luxury of doing something they are good at and being fairly compensated at the moment. You do ask your fellow men for support but you give as well as you get, so your networks are all within balance. This looks like it will be a fairly social week.
For the Outcome, you drew Ur or Intimacy. You have gotten better at speaking when it is needed and shutting up when it is best to shut up. Harmony in relationships is maintained via charitable dishonesty a.k.a. white lies that avoid trashing someone else and instead seek to make them feel better about themselves and the world. Brutal honesty is needed sometimes but it is medicine best taken in small doses where relationships are concerned.

This week I have some questions about a specific family issue:
1. In general, are we on the right path with this issue?
2. That event we signed up for, is it a good idea (or should we cancel)?
3. Should we sign up for other events with that organization this summer? (Ogham previously said that org would be good, but maybe this summer is too soon, or maybe things have changed.)
4. That other organization that the Ogham previously said would be good, we have been on the waiting list for ever since; should we keep pursuing it?
Thanks!

For 1, they gave Tinne or Defense. Tinne is a danger card in my Ogham in a good dignity, and in a bad one it means whatever this is could end up harming someone or in another form of damage. Not good. This is not safe.
For 2, it's a No, but not as bad as the previous one. It's Duir or Gifts, meaning it won't be all terrible, but chances are this event has spoiled, entitled people either running or ruining the event.
For 3, it's another No, this time with Nuin or Communication. There is not enough time or too many strangers who are potentially hostile to make this worthwhile.
For 4, they say No. They give Muin or Harvest, meaning that one will happen if it happens and there is no way it can be sped up.

I have a couple questions about this reading, which I hope you have time to answer.
#1 was meant to be about our general approach to the problem (which is: finding other kids for ours to interact with), so it's hard to interpret it. There's something very wrong with our general approach, to the point that it's dangerous...
* My first thought was to worry about the specific kids' group that I had in the back of my mind when asking this question, which had become the backbone of our "kid-finding efforts" by default since nothing else worked out. I'm aware that I really don't *want* the problem to be with it. It also occurred to me that I had *intended* this to be a *general* question and *not* just about that group. (Which might imply a meaning like "Yeah your whole general approach of 'looking for kids' groups' is the problem, socialize the kid some other way." Which I also don't want the answer to be since, like, what other way?) I will ask directly about this next week, but for now--
* Should I typically be going with my first thought about what a reading means here? Am I fooling myself if I don't?
* Since I'll be asking lots of questions next week--is there a card they give when you're just plain asking the wrong question?
#2 and #3 was about a second kids' group, and #4 was about a third group.
With #2, I worried when signing up that we might be jumping the gun, but we were excited. (Ogham had previously seemed to say, "Sign up for the fall." Which we did, but were then encouraged into summer "get ready" stuff; this event is officially an end-of-summer thing.)
* Could the spoiled people be us (since we're maybe jumping the gun)?
With #4, I meant to ask if we should even just stay on the waiting list, but "will happen if it happens and there is no way it can be sped up" kind of sounds like that's what we should do (and nothing else). On the other hand...
* Could "Harvest ill-dig" also mean "This group has changed and now it would have a bad result, get off the waiting list"?
No questions about #3, just feedback: I kind of thought "not enough time" but hoped different, I guess because I *was* worried there was something wrong with our general situation and I wanted to do something. But just because "this is something" doesn't mean we should do it, of course! :D
Sorry for the novel, this is just obviously a worrisome reading! Thanks again for doing this!
no subject
As for your first question, I think you are reading too much into parts of this reading. Aside from Tinne, the other cards aren't all that bad and just forecast trouble and difficulty in making this happen. There is no specific card for "wrong question", but they do give lousy answers sometimes and I think this was one of those times.
Overall, the Ogham are trying to remind you to focus on gratitude instead of worrying. I often like to say to myself "If these are my problems, I don't have any problems." When I am making ends meet, eating well, and not in horrible pain, I feel extraordinarily blessed. And it's not like I am shivering in the cold, wishing I could have an actual pair of shoes, and sleeping during the day in an effort to avoid being assaulted... many children all around the world have to worry about all of the above. As for "Are we the spoiled people?" you definitely need to meditate on that because only you and your holy guides know the answer. As far as Harvest ill-dig, I took it to mean that you will need to wait a long time, not that there was anything wrong with that group. It is fine to stay on the wait list though.
