Open Post
Hi Everyone, I am mourning my father, who died this week at the age of 85. Please send your prayers for his smooth transition through the Gates. I don't have the energy to write an essay for this week, so this is a bit of an unexpected Open Post.

The few things I feel I got right before he died were these:
-I bought my Dad convenient and comforting food, both healthy and not so healthy, despite being on a tight budget and coming from the lower middle class. Basically, 80+ is too late to worry about turning health matters around. So even though I am a whole foods, plant-based ethical vegan, I bought them meat/dairy stuff like linguini, calzones, smoked turkey, bacon, cookies, and pizza with a few ostensibly healthy things thrown in the mix such as fresh squeezed orange juice and flax crackers.
-I sensed this was coming more than a year ago and though I did not mention exactly what I thought was going to happen, I tried to accept it and act as if it could happen any day. So every time I had to leave my father's presence I told him I loved him. When someone would criticize or complain about him, I would remind him or her of one or more of his positive traits or the positive things he had done, which were too numerous to list.
-I sensed "all would be revealed" after he died, and though of course I could always be wrong, I believe I am right, at least in this case. I never told my Dad about my esoteric practices, but when he died, the spirit guides that took him revealed to him that I have been talking to the dead since the age of 12 and that I have a vivid spiritual life that provides me with certain abilities. My Dad's etheric body is still around as he has not yet been cremated, so the channel of communication is quite clear. Once he is cremated, the etheric line will be severed, but my Dad's higher self or Holy Guardian Angel has already become part of my spiritual ecosystem.
LOL true to form I've already written half a novel and could say a great deal more, so please expect the above and some expounding upon it to show up as an essay at some point.
