It's as if they thought housework would do itself just because women had access to in-home washing machines and vacuum cleaners... sheesh. We're still just glorified incubators. The difference now is that we're expected to earn grocery and housing money while being incubators, often literally: most women work nearly the entire time they are pregnant. Plus every office I ever worked in was a sea of women and a sprinkling of beta males, yet upper management was always 90% men, because nobody can climb to the top and be a halfway-decent mom, and most women choose to be halfway-decent moms once they have kids.
