Ogham Readings on Sundays

Hi Everyone,

 

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills. I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

Hi Neb,

My Ogham give you three cards for this week.

For the You position, they provide Straif or Resilience well-dignified. You may be troubled, but the Ogham think you have the right stuff to come out on top this week. Straif is a solid foundation -- the proverbial pig who builds her house out of brick instead of wood or straw. You are flexible where you need to be.

For the Situation, you drew Beith or Intention well-dignified. It is eerie when the Ogham give repeat readings, but at least this time Beith is well-dignified. I take this to mean you straighten out your reaction to the activities you mentioned, even if you cannot control what happens with the activities themselves.

For the Outcome, you drew Huath or Obstacles ill-dignified. Huath in any dignity can mean physical danger, so be aware and take as many precautions as possible. The main concern for me when I draw Huath is that I try to force something that cannot be forced: I try to corner someone in a conversation, I show my anger or frustration, or I generally make an ass of myself. There is equal danger, however, when Huath is imbalanced in the other direction. In this case it can mean lack of force or running away. One of the scariest initiations I went through was when I was called upon to rescue my aunt's cats (perhaps you heard that story) and I was very close to just leaving them there in her house to freeze and die. I'm glad I didn't listen to my "just leave it alone" instinct. I hope your encounter with Huath is less dramatic than that!

My Ogham say Yes, you need to step on the gas. They provide Uilleand or Generosity well-dignified, meaning that you do have to be more generous with giving potential mates the benefit of the doubt. That said, you may have to go well out of your comfort zone and only you can decide if you are ready for that.

I did read your essay and it's excellent advice, thank you! I've incorporated most of what you recommend into my daily life and am working on adding what I don't have into my routines right now.
