Happy-go-lucky sexual freedom leftists don't see themselves as menacing. Since they were happy hookers and gigolos and still retain their horniness at 60, they figure the younger generation is making mountains out of molehills: they're uptight. Leftists of that horny stripe only went along with the motions of #metoo because they try not to make waves in the party and ape MSNBC talking points. They don't believe it could get them executed. They wouldn't believe it even when the noose was being slipped around their neck.
