That Time My Ogham and I Were Very Wrong

In 2021, I asked my Ogham if there was going to be a catastrophic, Black Plague-level die-off of the quaxxed ("quaxxed" is my term for the MRNA-vaccinated) n the next few years.  They said Yes.  For a time, I went back and forth on my belief in the impending vax-pocalypse and voiced my opinions in this essay.  Then all-cause mortality of everything except Covid-19 ramped up around the world, and I revised my opinions with this essay.   Now that we are almost a month into 2023, I am revising my opinion once again.  I believe I was wrong and so was my Ogham.  There is a die-off of the quaxxed and it is considerable, but it is far from Black Death levels and will likely remain at the same slightly-wavering percentage for the next 1-30 years.  It is not a civilization ender in the way the Black Death was, nor will it ever be.

Once again, John Michael Greer nailed it.  He has always predicted a slow and steady decline into de-industrialization pockmarked by bubbles and pits.  In 2021, I feared 2023 would be a second Great Depression.  If half the population of my corner of the upper Midwest had passed away and had politics been even more of a crapshow than it is right now, perhaps that would have happened.  As a matter of fact, it did not happen.  Real estate is still percolating away at frothy highs, and this is the somewhat gamed result of supply and demand.  What I mean is there is no shortage of people looking to rent and buy new spaces.  If there truly was a Black Death die off among the quaxxed, half the houses in my neighborhood would be empty.  The fact of the matter is they are not.

Let's Look at the Specifics of How I Was Almost Right

I am glad my Ogham and I were wrong about the numbers pertaining to the quaxxed.  As it so happens, my area in the Chicago suburbs is about 90-95 percent quaxxed.  As someone who did not get any of the quaxxes, I am a freak on the margins and a potential target for persecution.  Being staunchly against the quax is what forced me to close my commercial space of 13 years.  About half of my clients became afraid of me, with my unvaxxed blood, spreading the dread Corona virus to themselves and their children.  The ultimate irony came wrapped up with a bow: they are the super-spreaders they once feared, and because of the way the spike proteins implant themselves in every tissue of the body, they may be cursed with this status for life.  My profits were never fat enough to lose 50% of them and still be in a position to pay commercial rent, so here I am, making a modest living teaching lessons out of my house.

This is not to say the quaxxes do not come at a price that often includes mortality.  All-cause mortality is up by staggering amounts wherever there are lots of quaxxed people, yet it is suspiciously low in countries like Haiti and Sweden where the quax was not forced.  One of the predictions my Ogham made that came true is the swelling numbers of vaccine-injured/quax-disabled people.  Labor shortages and supply chain issues are not just a result of government fiddling; there are countless numbers who took the quax and suffered its infamous side effects.  Anyone who has seen the incredibly gruesome documentary Died Suddenly can likely piece together what can happen in the bodies of the quaxxed.  I am amazed at how many people are still alive, considering the evidence provided by what the quax does once it sets up in the blood in the form of fibrous clots.

I'm Not Ready and Never Will Be

I'm fairly thrifty and scrappy, but I am not ready for any kind of Black Plague level event and I am fairly certain I will never be ready within this lifetime.  For instance, last night I took one of my autistic adult students to play a popular open mic.  The open mic was in a spacious bar that was teeming with people.  The local musicians who played and sang were prodigiously talented.  I ordered a vegan burger off of their impressive menu.  Teeming bars with great musicians and vegan options do not happen in the apocalypse.  We are very, very far from Monty Python's BRING OUT YOUR DEAD! scene and I hope we always remain that way.  When quax injuries and deaths started to make themselves apparent in 2022, I did a mini-series of meditations of what could happen.  These included:

1. Black Death... half of people die/horrible, civilization overturns
2. Cholera... about 20 percent die/still horrible, pretty bad but not like the Black Death
3. Spanish flu... fewer than 10 percent die
4. Nobody dies, business as usual

We seem to be somewhere between 2 and 3 right now.  It's horrific for sure to see so many mowed down, but it ain't the Black Death and thank heaven for that.  I don't want anything like the Black Death to happen because as someone who was raised as an upper-middle class suburbanite, it's everything I can do to figure out old fashioned homesteading skills between trying to keep a roof overhead.  I have never successfully canned a vegetable or fruit on my own.  I still kill a good number of my plants, both indoors and in the garden.  My house, though fairly resilient, depends on heat from natural gas, electricity and water from my local grids, and repairs from local handymen.   All of these things need copious numbers of people to make them happen.  I love my fragile environment with top shelf musicians randomly visiting open mics on Tuesday night while I munch on my vegan burger and microgreens and strawberry salad.  I also don't want any of my students or their families to suffer, and this is not entirely selfish.  My relationship with my clients is more like extended family or in some cases, close family.  I love and care for these people more than I do some of my immediate relatives and many of them are quaxxed.

I feel fortunate to be able to say I am wrong, and to my credit, I have always maintained I could be wrong.  Buying into the Apocalypse Meme is tempting because it allows you to take yourself out of your current predicament and place yourself in an exciting movie where you have other and more pressing things to worry about.  Perhaps this will help me to understand why asking the Ogham binary Yes No questions is so problematic.  There are always a million small factors affecting any one outcome, kind of like the butterfly effect or ripples in a pond.

I think it hasn't yet even begun, all that this has started. You're apologizing for your Ogham but they blew my mind because I also was hit with the flash of insight that silk screening was gonna make a comeback, and I researched the organization and realized I'd likely be able to get a silkscreen show and sales event party in the spaces they have open, AND when I saw shots of the staff, I saw the crusty ole printer guy and thought, "man, I'm gonna need you as a friend."

Around the corner is the Cafe la boheme I sing at whenever I pass on my bike, as I'm courting the very grouchy owner.
Grouches are my soft spot and my specialty!

And they said screening would be good for building community... it's local...down the street... and one of the screen books I got at the library to catch up on processes and ideas, they started print club London because they craved pulling their own prints as they found digital...dead!

So your Ogham are right by me because to ME this is a genocide that's gonna keep on giving and mutating the more people cling to old illusions. There are and will be more related tragedies.

I wrote to my old boss for the late 1980s at American picture framing in phila because I'll wanna have a framing connection if I'm making art again, and their entire wholesale shipping biz is dead after DECADES. Lost all their customer wholesale accts over the lockdowns.

People open covid post at Papa G's site are stressing over Astral vibe, BUT I'm finally sleeping through the night because your Ogham told me my salivating chills about this being The Move I'm to make to pull off new kind art community biz ideas!

So you AND Papa are in agreement still by my eyes because you're just debating numbers and how much is in a bubble?

I think us artists have a short opening of time to create alternative ANYTHING, because while I'm getting used to a calm now, I think things could get bad soon.

I have NO idea. But I doubt it'll be reaction to vax killing people... the same thing that made people take experimental serum en mass, the shame embarrassment and self hatred will likely make people behave...

To a point.

They could turn on us out of their rage...

That's also why I'm trying to start more of a fun thing people wanna be around.

Something like that.

And ANYONE can screen print!

Point is I wouldn't back away from your Ogham just yet. The things they say are on a different timeline we're used to, and we need to keep that in mind as we plan make and inhabit new world WE make.

Like I asked about KPOO a long time ago, but it's still unfolding... I knew there were gonna be 4 kittens born, and that same voice said spring... March or may I can't remember which m word as I tried to ignore it. Stupid I know!

But your Ogham give me confidence when my head is too taken in by everything because everything is changing and few are able to make their big moves yet.

Everyone's still reeling, not knowing how to react.

It's still shock and awe.

When illusions are over and realizations and grief and rage come in...???

We're only JUST NOW coming up on 'em?....

"As someone who did not get any of the quaxxes, I am a freak on the margins and a potential target for persecution."

"Like Sam Harris, I think that some of these people secretly wish for mass persecution to fulfill their martyrdom complexes."

Thank you for this observation.

There's a great deal of rancor among former followers of "Papa" John Michael Greer at the moment where JMG is being lauded as irresponsible and a fomenter of Satanic Panic 2.0 because he dared mention the demonic hypothesis

How absurd! Everyone's saying it, even Naomi Wolf's last book calls this a battle for the human soul.

I assume as much in how and why my work now.

So much of my life is trying to pick up where I must've left off! This is all quite fun.

More on this later....it all lines up for me.

Thanks for pushing me on my dares...

The problem I see with "Black Plague-level die-off" is that it can be interpreted in two ways, either as a ratio of people who perished (30-60%) or as a fixed number of dead (75,000,000 - 200,000,000.) The ratio interpretation is the big fear; seeing numbers like in the Deagal report where there has been a collapse of population across all the heavily mRNA vaccinated nations. Even if that many people died it is not, on it's own, a civilization ending event. I suspect that if all the reporting on deaths was honest we are well on track to hit the fixed number with continued linear progression over the next several years.

The thing that really worries me is the vaccine injuries that lead to permanent disability. Canada has legalized doctor assisted suicides for any reason. I've seen stories of people opting for that because they can't receive proper medical care. In the real not rare accounts I've read most people can't get anything, except bills, out of the medical industry when they present with a vaccine injury. I fear that this cohort might not die of natural causes, but when honesty considered be added to the vaccine death toll.

Despite all of that I expect that power, water, gas, and internet will be still be available at my house throughout this decade.

... like smoking ... bad, but life goes on.

'where a bunch of old people watch everything slowly decay around them in genteel, civilized boredom. In Japan, there are far more adult diapers sold than baby ones any given year. That's kind of horrifying, but it isn't the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination.'

There is something very familiar about this. Welcome to my church, my neighbourhood, in a few years time - myself? I do not think Ecclesiastes is the best book in the Bible, but it does resonate the most strongly for me.

Pax et bonum.

I find it bleakly amusing you're posting this at around the time I've reluctantly concluded your Ogham were likely right. It's just, it won't hit all at once: it'll be spread over the next five or ten years, but when it's done, at this point I expect most of the vaxxed to have died. There's just too much evidence of damage, a lot of it of irreversible sorts, and too much evidence for immune issues which seem to still be building, for me to be able to avoid concluding your Ogham were right about the scale of the coming mess.

Kimberly,

It takes guts to make a bold prediction in public. It takes even more guts to go back later and analyze whether the prediction panned out. My hat is off to you and I bow in your general direction!

I hope you're right this time ;)

Still-- I'm neither predicting mass death, nor ruling it out. Still feels like anything's possible, and we are living in a very fragile place. I expect this year will be interesting.

I'm gonna sound bitchier than usual, but anyone who thinks demons haven't been here quite some time are....cuuuute and very suburban and sheltered and why we're all fair game now.

I feel similarly to how Papa explains setting up a couple of rules variable selections and let it run its course and that's how thinking kings were a great idea, that anyone is above you, has led to us being caged meat for the same inbred retarded elite.

I've never seen how any of these systems got support and stuck around so long.... demons? So then like Camille paglia I'm inclined to acknowledge it more like "daemonic." It's a more inclusive word in that it's a solid part of us humans.

And if Papa wants to talk about demons forever, so what? He's not the boss of any one and people aren't children and responsible for themselves.

The ones kvetching about Papa wanna be the heierarchical secret magic elite.

It's all soooo tired and played out.

Regardless of what or who it is, it's diabolical as hell.

I recall someone on JMG's Open Covid threads linking to a German clairvoyant who predicted that, for 2023, certain benevolent entities will be intervening to prevent the apocalyptically sudden die-off that the quaxxes *could* have caused, to give us all a chance to adapt. Perhaps your Ogham were picking up the latent possibility of catastrophe that the gods saw fit to prevent?

In any case, only the gods know, and like you I'm glad that we're not seeing the worst case scenario at this point.

The live TV thing... Wouldn't be surprised to see that simply go away, in favor of "recorded ten minutes ago" or "Live but with a slight delay in case we need a sudden and unexpected cut to commercial"-- much the way it's currently done with TV talk shows that sometimes need to be bleeped in realtime.

Thank you for revisiting the prediction, Kimberly. I appreciate your honesty very much.

I am grateful that we aren't in Black Death level percentages. I can't even conceive what that would be like. I agree that we could make Black Death raw numbers. The Ethical Skeptic thinks there have been +500K excess deaths in the US alone already. I am having trouble conceiving of that too. And yet I am starting to see it on my own life. People I know are dying suddenly. The health problems of people I know and love are increasing. This is far from over.

Your comment about the demon hypothesis is interesting. I was one of the people who heard an odd voice urging the jab. It was bad enough seeing work, church, friends and family be unquestioningly in favour of this new treatment. Having an inner voice get on board was almost too much. Once I heard it might be demons on JMG's covid blog I started praying a prayer of protection every day. The rouge voice was replaced with Tom Petty singing "You could stand me up at the gates of Hell but I won't back down." I thought demons sounded strange, but allowing for that possibly helped me. No Satanic Panic for me. More like Demon Defense.

Something beyond the material world must be involved. Everything is just too weird. I consider 2021 the Wonderland Year. My daughter was obsessed with the stories about Alice and they seemed to drift into our real life. Conversations with people felt very much like talking with the Mad Hatter or the Queen of Hearts. They kept saying nonsense. I'd point out the crazy to them and I'd get a blank look or silence on the phone and then hear something about needing to be safe. They were not themselves (many of them still aren't). They did and said things that were very out of character and I could not snap them out of it. By 2022 I decided to change the subject, silently offer them a blessing, and look for ways to limit their influence on me, my spouse, and our daughter.

Of course some people decided to comply with mandates knowing they were wrong. While my friends and family were all in Wonderland several of my colleagues weren't. Of the colleagues I spoke to about the mandates, roughly one third to one half thought they were awful. Whether they were jabbed or not, they thought the demand to provide proof was immoral and a gross overreach by our employer. A few of them were really worried about how the jabs would affect their health if they go them. Everyone I spoke with caved though.

There are +1600 employees at my old firm and I heard that only 9, including me, refused to comply.

The pressure was so great I understand why they submitted, and I am grateful I summoned the strength to resist. Still 9 is a really small number. And I am especially worried for the people who knew they were putting themselves in harm's way - either morally or health wise.

Like Erika, I wonder what happens when the illusions are shattered. I think it will be heartbreaking, messy, and dangerous. But we will be living in truth together. And we can build real things, amazing things, beautiful things.

eh. I don't think TV is coming back from its slide into irrelevancy. This would just accelerate it.

It does happen. I mean, that's what the whole story of Jonah is about, right? God's unhappy with the situation in Nineveh. He wants to wipe them off the map. But he sends Jonah: hey, tell the Ninevites to repent, or I'll waste 'em. Jonah knows how God works: Gripe. Whine. Let those no-good Ninevites perish. We *all* know that they'll repent, and then nothing'll happen, and then I'll look like an idiot. I'm running away...

But at some point in that story, God's wrath was a sure thing. Until it wasn't.
