Well, keep in mind I don't talk to ALL dead people, just a handful of the ones who happen by in my astral neck of the woods. Some dead people told me they were surprised and confused when it became apparent there were extra consequences for taking the quax, even though they died from it. They were also scared because of the huge wave of death they were caught within. They asked me to pray to the gods for them and I did just that. I wasn't trying to bother the dead -- they came to me shortly after their deaths during my Sphere of Protection. The Sphere of Protection is very attention-getting on the astral plane. One dead person told me years ago that it looks like fireworks.

It's not that weird to talk to dead people, by the way. You just have to be willing to listen, meditate, and be ready to dismiss a great deal of astral chatter, including the chatter of your own biased brain, much like sifting out the gold from the sand in a river.
