Ogham Readings on Sundays

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not! I take reading requests until 8pm Central Time (Chicago Illinois USA) on Sunday night. Though I am flattered that people want readings after the deadline, I decline reading requests made after 8pm Central Time on Sunday night without exception.

I will be taking off the last Sunday in December 2022 and the first Sunday of 2023 this year.

I attempted using a different arrangement of gods in my SoP practice after getting very unambiguously good divination on it. I do not think the attempt went well at all. Yet, the divination is still good, telling me to keep going with it. What is going on here? Is it my perception or the cards that are wrong?

My Ogham give you Luis or Protection ill-dignified, meaning that you are having a rough time communicating with your Holy Guardian Angel. You're tending to overthink things and you're becoming paranoid. This is most likely karma you are working through either from the current life, past lives, or both. Keep on plugging away with the new arrangement of gods until it becomes effortless and see what happens. Also, keep in mind that gods are very, very, VERY patient.

Well, I feel called out. ;) Some of that is probably more accurate than I would like it to be. With regard to the new arrangement though, the more I think about it the more it feels like an epic reach and these are not gods I have any business approaching. Can I ask what you mean by effortless? I wouldn't have thought that was the issue, but perhaps I'm not looking at it correctly?

From my limited experience, it has become apparent to me that ritual magic is a great deal like practicing the piano or the guitar. When you start, it seems absolutely hopeless. When you hear musicians who are far better than you, you feel mystified and like you should give up. As much as it is going to suck, you have to keep practicing until the dinky little song you've been given is perfect. You can now play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with grace and you can play it in your sleep because you know it so well. That's what I mean by "effortless". Sure, it's only Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and you are going to sound like ass for anywhere from 2 weeks to a year. Nevertheless, you just have to ignore that, put aside your feelings of embarrassment and unworthiness, and keep plugging away every single day, sometimes twice a day.
