Another day, another dollar for the magical resistance. The only difference is they usually make their rituals perfectly obvious instead of hiding behind crows and implied triple-cross symbols. Ritual Satanists always hexing/cursing someone... it's their stock and trade. The funny thing about ritual Satanists is they are atheists at heart because they don't believe they can be held karmically accountable for their actions.
That said, Jess Czebotar is living proof that the opposite of one bad thing is another bad thing. Anointing one's children and making them aim prayers against Satanists is straight up child abuse. "Prayer" is her word for cacomagic that she sees as white magic because it is aimed at her enemies. She could at least have the decency to leave her children out of it... what if she is wrong? What if the magazine isn't attempting to communicate diddly squat?
But Christians do this sort of thing ALL THE TIME. They use their children as weapons over and over and never learn why it's deeply wrong to do that to them. Case in point: the Quiverfull movement, which dogmatizes a Psalm to turn women into breeding cows, men into mindless ego machines, and children? Well, the had better toe the line and be good little arrows, or they will be cast out on the street soon enough.
