Baby oak is getting larger!  I planted coneflowers and borage around him.

Rose of Sharon -- I pruned both of mine very hard this year and multiple times.  It has lots of buds.  Hopefully next month's photos will feature blooms.

Daylily garden with Russian sage in the background and a raspberry bush in the foreground.  Last year I made raspberry cordial -- raspberry juice boiled with sugar and vodka.  Probably will do the same this year.  It makes a great Christmas gift.

I recently discovered some Youtube advice on why my pear tree took seven years to bloom and did not fruit very much -- I need to plant a second pear tree of a different variety and then I will get prolific blooms and fruiting! I plan on doing that next spring at the latest. There is a steep learning curve to gardening. I feel the same way about borage. It can be a bit much but since the pollinators love it, I leave it be.

The hollow moon theory, which I had not heard before, sounds compelling! Maybe it's the hollow moon that caused the great floods recorded by just about everyone in common prehistory.

Yeah, it is weird to see so many celebs and politicians with one black eye. Two black eyes would make sense as the side effect of blepharoplasty, otherwise known as getting one's eye bags removed via plastic surgery. It's never both eyes though, only one, and usually the left.
Especially creepy is the celebrities who are photographed with the black eye who seem happy about it, as if they are getting off on being subjugated by whatever gimp-suited overlords run the secret violent S&M club.

The truly sad part is how you can see how haunted some of these people are, and to me that is the only thing approaching proof we will ever have. Joan Rivers seemed very haunted, as if she could never joke her way out of what she had seen. I really liked her. Supposedly she was killed on the throat surgeon's table after making snide remarks about the US "already having a gay president" in the form of Barack Obama during his 8 year term.

Britney Spears is another one. Her eyes tell a tale (even when one is not blackened) despite heavy makeup and a big toothy smile. I shudder to think of the things that were potentially done to her as a child and a teen. According to a blind item, Fergie of Black Eyed Peas allegedly lost her virginity sometime in her single digits via rape and was passed around as a sex toy for most of her young girlhood. The blind item reveals she did not have an actual consensual sexual experience until sometime in her 20s.

I used to envy the rich and famous... I think many of us did. Not so much anymore.
