Ogham Readings on Mondays
Submit your question or request for a general "what's up this week" reading and I will be happy to oblige! I read between the time I post on Sunday night with a deadline of 8pm Monday night.

I am happy to read your Ogham free of charge -- that's how I hone my divination skills -- but if you want to donate for it, I'll happily buy myself a book, a snack, or a cup of tea while on the town. Please only donate if you can absolutely afford it. I've been there. Your prayers for my continued success are welcome whether you donate or not!
Readings are closed for the week of December 6 but please feel free to comment on existing readings. Please join me next week for more free Ogham readings!

I have a question for which the answer will span a time-horizon that is longer than the current week, if that is possible.
How do I get out of the current mess I find myself in with regard to finding a stable employment? And what kind of work should look for?

For the first question, "How do I get out of the current mess?" They give you Saille or Sensitivity, symbolized by the Willow tree. Saille is ruled by Aphrodite. As the goddess of Love, she informs you through this card to take an honest and unflinching look of that which you love and are also quite talented at. In my case, I have lots of talents and the urge to chase almost all of them, but when it comes down to brass tacks, I am very, very good and some of them and not so great at others. I love to cook and I am a capable cook, but I am not ever going to be a chef or run a restaurant because I am always covered in cat hair, don't know how to cook for giant crowds and don't have a desire to learn. So that knocks out any kind of food career, including writing a cookbook, out of my current purview. It's super important to narrow down your career choices to that tiny group of intersections of GOOD AT/LOVE TO DO and mercilessly exclude everything else. To be extremely blunt, think of it as a traditional marriage. You are going to be marrying this person and the goal is to be monogamous with them the rest of your life. Once you're married, you are going to ignore all those hotties who desperately want to whisk you away to have their way with you LOL so you'd better choose well. Meaning you don't even want to include skills you feel lukewarm about in your career options. Once you've got that choice made, pursue it with an inextinguishable fury as if the fire of a thousand suns was at your backside. Do not give up, do not give in, and slalom your way to success. I am reminded of how I became an independent music teacher despite being tempted by different and more "stable" career paths back in the day.
For the type of work, they give you Gort or Perseverance. This indicates that you may end up teaching as teaching is the ultimate in perseverance, or that you could wind up working with plants and trees in some kind of earthy occupation. At any rate, they are saying if you narrow it down in the way the card Saille suggests and then pursue the "marriage" with full force, you'll be unstoppable. Both cards were well-dignified.
