I fell from upper middle class status to lower middle class. I have never been happier in my life. Being short at bill paying time can be stressful... if you LET it be stressful. I'm at the point where I just laugh it off. Let's say the worst case scenario happens and I become homeless, living out of my car. I'll be fine. I will still have the things I value most: the sky, the trees, and my freedom. Their constant quest for more privileges, more perks, and more luxuries blinds them to the wonderful things they have right now. Clean, potable water... to bathe in and flush the toilet, for heaven's sake! Air conditioning. A meal in a charming restaurant. Fluffy, clean blankets and pillows to bed down in. There is so much to be grateful for that if I had a thousand years, it would not be enough to thank the gods for one single day.
