Interesting! Sometimes it just doesn't matter what the room looks like. My parents' house in the 70s was hideous -- Orange Rice A Roni shag carpeting, brown "wood" paneling, avocado green sofa, garish clown painting, etc. but it was always cozy and wonderful. I think much of the etheric quality of a place has to do with the astral state of the people living there. If it's good, the etheric is only the next step "down", after all.
