I can relate to what you're saying here. For my first fifteen years living in Milwaukee County, I lived in a building that had a way of being a magnet for drunks and very mentally disturbed people. My most vivid emotional memory of living there was how badly etherically starved I felt most of the time and the way this poisoned my nascent spiritual life. (I believe that the unfortunate karma I had spent much of the previous six years generating had a lot do with how I ended up in such a place.)
When I was looking for a new place to live, I believe the Spirit was guiding that process, because the first place I looked just called out to me as soon as I stepped over the threshold. In fact, once I made my decision to move to the place from which I am now typing these words, I felt like the etheric environment of the whole neighborhood was happy that I was going to be moving in, almost like it was cheering "Hip-hip-hooray!" --Mr. Nobody
