Ogham Readings on Mondays

I seem to have hit a wall in my spiritual life where nothing I'm doing is working anymore. What do I need to do differently?

Hi Anon,

My Ogham have some advice for you.

For the You position, they give you Coll or Wisdom well-dignified. They are saying that you have more wisdom than you think, but humility and hard work are still the way forward even if this is the case. Sometimes you have to spend a huge, huge amount of time carrying the buckets of water up the hill only to have the Master unceremoniously empty them onto his garden and send you back down again.

For the Situation, they gave you Gort or Perseverance. Perseverance is key. Are you doing your prayers or rituals consistently? Practice makes perfect. It's your dogged perseverance that will eventually win the day. Keep on truckin'.

For the Outcome, they provide Straif or Resilience ill-dignified. They say your main problem is that you are either under- or over-prepared. If you are under-resilient, you are extremely scared of improvisation and thinking out of the box. In this case, you need to relax and not worry so much about getting it wrong. If you are over-resilient, you should put less faith in material preparation for disaster and cultivate Stoicism (making the best out of a terrible situation and being exceedingly generous in a wonderful situation) and to understand that most disaster preparation is mental/psychological.
