Given what we've seen about the incompetence in Pfizer's clinical trials, I don't think they're as competent as that. I think they're more like Keystone Kops.

I'm sure they don't mind making more money from their side-effect-treating drugs, though. This is not exactly an incentive to them to become more competent with their vaccine!

Speaking of that, my mom just relayed a story from my Rust Belt hometown (i.e., opioid pandemic central) of a doctor prescribing Oxycontin to a three-year old for pain from hand, foot, and mouth disease! Luckily, the parents refused to give it to her, but can you imagine giving opioids to a toddler?!? The pharmaceutical companies have learned nothing.
