They’d kick you out for not getting a vaccine? Wow. My sympathies, and I hope it doesn’t come to that.

They genuinely believe that without the vaccine they and everyone around them is in terrible danger. Anyone who doesn't get it is, in their minds, putting not just their own life in danger but that of everyone they come into contact with. I doubt it has even occurred to them that any of their children might not want it yet: in their minds only obvious defectives who care nothing for anyone else and are too incompetent to make their own decisions anyway would even hesitate to get one of the vaccines, let alone actually decide not to get one.

So my plan is to move out before that even becomes an issue.

Some salary classer came up to my parents door (their neighbor) saying that she wanted to come in and convince them to take the vaccine.

I was and am really, really angry at her. Luckily I kept my cool and tersely replied "We're not interested," and dismissed her instead of engaging her.

I took her action as a direct threat against their safety and well-being.

The entire thing is surreal. I will avoid telling anyone I chose not to get the vaccine, since it doesn't seem safe to do so. I've already heard people saying they think violence against "antivaxers" is justified, which tells me all I need to know. The next few years will probably be disastrous in many different ways.

Their narrative is collapsing along with their President Potato up the steps of Airforce One. That's why they are getting so frantic -- they are trying to prop up what they know to be an increasingly unpopular movement. I started a group for mask-free networking a few weeks ago and it is already up to almost 500 members. Rational people everywhere are sick and tired of mask theater and the specter of forced vaccinations. They still think they hold all the cards and can force the general population into their Great Reset. It's not going to happen -- we have states like Florida, Texas, and South Dakota that prove nothing happens if you take the masks off.

Their cries of "Racism!" at every turn are also finally ringing false with the general public. It took a LONG time but at this point, the person who cries "racist" is the Boy Who Cried Wolf.

I view it like any other medicine—after it’s been around 5 years or so and hasn’t killed a lot of people, sure, I’ll be interested. I can’t figure out what the frenzy is. I don’t remember emotional battles between people who did and did not take Vioxx.

I want to see the standard set of data before I'll consider it, and what I'm seeing through VAERS is giving me enough pause. I suspect there will be some truly horrific side effects coming out in the next few years....
