At this point, marijuana legalization seems inevitable no matter which party's in power. FL voted to legalize medical MJ in 2016 (the main reason I voted at all in 16 was to vote yes on legalization-- I don't smoke it, but there's no point in prosecuting people who do!), and a lot of people were afraid DeSantis would roadblock it because Republicans. But instead he was just like "y'all voted for it, Floridians want it, I'm certainly not going to stand in the way. Let's do what FL voted for."
