No doubt! The running joke is that most women go to college to get an MRS Degree (to get married). With the new COVID rules, it is far easier to find a hookup elsewhere, for instance on social media. The entire appeal of college is now irrevocably lost. I'm not too old to remember that college represented freedom. It wasn't anything of the sort of course, but I was fooled like every other freshman.

If colleges go back to normal in five years -- it could be a shorter time but let's say the current hysteria clings hard, which I believe it will -- nobody will trust the college system again. There will always be a suspicion it could lock down and become Pandemic Prison at any moment, and simultaneously it becomes a colossal waste of money. The PMC built its empire around schools/colleges, the new construction of underused living and shopping space, and infotainment (the propaganda arm of the PMC). Now the only resource it has not decimated is infotainment, and they've partially sunk that one allowing mainstream media's credibility to implode.
