Three hundred years ago aristocratic European men wore tights and high heels and puffy long haired wigs and their male children wore the same clothing (gowns and dresses) as their female siblings.
These days the only men who wear such clothing are drag queens, crossdressers, and transgender people, and if parents tried to do to their male children the same thing that they did in the 1700s, they would be accused by society of being groomers.
