Hi AED,

You drew three cards this week.

For the You position, you drew Gort or Perseverance well-dignified. Slow and steady wins the race. Those who go the slow road of diligence, daily routines, and minimum flashiness are often denigrated as boring but it's the same strategy in which a drop of water becomes a stream becomes a river that carves the Grand Canyon. It's hip to be square, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

For the Situation, you drew Luis or Protection ill-dignified. Luis is one of my Ogham's physical danger cards, especially in this dignity, so take extra safety precautions and don't do anything on the cheap or in an oppositely-unbalanced, reckless way. Other than that, it is easy to think you've got all your bases covered when you've missed the mark entirely: my favorite example is the couple who moves to a leafy suburb so the kids will be "safe", and the high school culture ends up turning a perfectly good kid into a raging drug addict/alcoholic. The only true protection is the kind developed from the inside out.

For the Outcome, you drew Ngetal or Hygiene well-dignified. This card is about developing new, positive health habits, but because it is showing up with Luis ill-dig, I am going to again warn you about physical danger in the form of ill-health. You'll want to make sure to take zinc (on a full stomach every time) in addition to a quality multivitamin every day this week. Other than physical matters, Ngetal signifies you have developed a thick skin, but not so thick that you are obtuse and unsympathetic when you are needed for advice or comfort.
