The sad thing is, that the tactics of BLM will probably add to racism instead of defeat it. People who really are prejudiced against Blacks will just dig in their heels deeper, which will feed into Blacks who fear and/or hate Whites who they think are against the minority community, other ethnic groups join in and pick others to be against...it all sounds opposite of what Martin Luther King Jr. wanted. He led protests that caused people to question what was going on in the country (Jim Crow laws, lax voting rights, etc.) and then moved them toward change. If his protests became violent, it was because of some young firebrands who felt MLK's tactics were too slow. Those firebrands were like the protesters of today, and all they do is turn people against them, and sadly possibly against cases that do need justice for wrongdoing.
